mike richards, la kings. has just negotiated a buyout on his huge contract. so he will be a UFA at a certain time, soon.

too bad bickell contract is hanging over the hawks neck but i would love to get richards like the hawks got brad richards at a discount and provide a valuable positional skilled player.

i think he will look good as a 3c ... but oh well.

You are aware that Mike Richards has some major legal and addiction issues with drugs, correct?

yes i agree. but there is the potential of skills there, i am not saying turn a blank eye, but unless the whole sport of hockey provide some major help. however i have faith in the hawks org to also provide help when asked.

i am not cold blooded on this right or wrong, but that 3 or 4 line needs some help. however this is only 2 games and i am not crying firing.

btw, a great counter.

No. He might be suspended indefinitely until his customs drug case closes anyway. Can we at least wait until he is out if the judicial system?

And hockey wise, there is a reason why the Kings were so desperate to terminate his contract at the first opportunity

don't get me wrong, you and others are right.

i agree, i was trying to get some discussion and posters opinion.

la kings, gm was angry and disappointed, b/c he lied and continue to lie to his face about his problem which M. R. denies he has.

this team is going to be fun, but i am greedy.

oh well just thinking.

Kane with 5 points (3 G, 2 A) in 3 games, Panarin with 3 (2 G, 1 A).

With Kane playing on a line with Artemi and Artem, I think he can have a 100 point season if he stays healthy.

I don't know about 100 from just Kane, but I did tweet yesterday a prediction that Kane and Panarin will COMBINE for 100 points this season. They work together beautifully.

Considering Kane had 64 points last year in just 61 games, I think them combining for 100 will be easy. Of course, injuries can happen, but let's hope they don't.
