How can Montreal be at 115.8% capacity for road games?

The Winter Classic in Boston was played at the football stadium. So they counted the larger attendance but didn't adjust the capacity, same with Boston's home attendance.

I feel like there must have been a better way to do that- a way that didn't skew the rest of the stats.

Stars don't play again until Friday, so there's a legit shot (albeit without games in hand) that the Hawks could be back on top of the Central by week's end.

Florida is the only team that scares me on the schedule for the next 6 games.

Hossa with 4 points over the last 1 and 2/3 games.

Before he scored a few days back, his shooting percentage had dropped to 4.3, it was not gonna stay that low. Last year was his career full season low at 8.9.

It's a good sign that Hossa didn't get too worked up about his lack of scoring. Clearly the type of player you want on your team.

I really want to believe Teravainen is the real deal. He has looked pretty good so far.

His 2 way game has gotten so much better, and he's finally shooting the puck. He has a sneaky wrister. Love me some TT, and meshed pretty well with Kane and Panarin tonight.

Nothing will ever compare to Panarin/Anisimov/Kane though... chemistry there is unreal

Depending on how good you think Teuvo can be, that's not necessarily true. If Teuvo is as good as he was thought to be we he was called up, the Panarin/Teuvo/Kane line should be superior.

That's probably right.

Rank:

1. Hossa - was signed as the piece to get us over the hump. That happened.

2. Jermaine Dye - from FA signing to top 5 MVP voting

3. Julius Peppers - DPOY and got bears to NFCC

4. AJP

Don't follow cubs much. Maddux?

Yeah and I really think the fact that Hossa was signed and sold as the guy to put us over the top for cups, and then that happened. They may have won without him but I can't imagine him not being there for the first two.

Contrast to players signed before who were sold in the same capacity: Ben Wallace, Muhsin Muhammed, can't think of much more, but it seemed like in the mid 00s when a lot of our teams were on the brink of breaking it wide open, the big acquisitions disappointed.

Dye was not that, but he was a huge surprise that outperformed probably every FA expectation ever

The first one I think they could have potentially won with Martin Havlat, but I'm not sure.

Still the best signing in Chicago history, IMHO. Sounds like a big deal, but really there haven't been that many great signings. I think, personally, unless a free agent comes here and leads a team to the Super Bowl or a World Series, it's hard to top three cups.
