I don't know why I continue to go down this road, but I do.

You realize in all your great cap breakdowns, you seem to always leave out the huge pay raises Kane and Toews received in 2015 that forced the Blackhawks to move players. You take whatever fits your narrative in your head, and try to make it work. You seem to love reading message boards and stories, go back and look when Toews and Kane originally signed their extensions, it was already widely expected Sharp would be one of the first cap casualties, due to his age and salary requirements. Saad was the shocking one.

that was already taken into consideration ..... since you mention that cap, subtract the money including AA contract the new contract, and see how that adds up. the Toews and Kane contract were sign and known of before the playoff.

next your discussion of it was expected that sharp had to go.... due to salary.

remember the fight in the locker room was after a game when sport writes of different site were there and were quickly escorted out. so yeah, it is really plausible / likely that the FO knew he, sharp had to go.

they the hawks valued keith more than sharp.

ref Saad, that was totally unexpected and before that, knowing after the SC parade, something is really going to chg.

None of this makes any sense. Sharp had to go because the Blackhawks couldn't afford to pay him.

Lmao you cannot state fact and then follow that with a rumor!

The fact of this discussion is you are stating that Sharp was traded because of the problems with keith and sharp, and that is where I completely disagree with you.

again i will say this, you can choose to accept what rumors is meaningful to you and your state of reasoning. but if you accept one rumor, whether it is now, or the past or the future, then you can not exclude any other rumors.

what do you want. the press the org to come out and say that happen...... come on. i am done with this.

Stan Bowman has won three Stanley Cups with the Chicago Blackhawks during his time as GM.

But has only orchestrated 2. It's fantastic, no doubt, but let's be real. That team was built (by Dale Tallon) to win one, but Stan added two more.

By reporters, you mean Dan Bernstein and Dave Diehl?

Find me a true hockey reporter that confirmed or even documented this locker room fight, and I'll say I was wrong.

I can't imagine a team playing together for any part 82 games and there not being some discord in the locker room.

ref the bold, you are correct, but lets not forget, he was in the fo helping in scouting and all that, so he may also have had his fingers in the players that the hawks drafted.

with all due respect. but are those guys on the score or some local sports radio.....

i live in LA and do not get them.

but i was talking about TSN, espn, cbs and other sites i go to for sports info.

but on who is right or wrong, if no one takes it personal, and i have to constantly remind myself this, it is a discussion....

i will also admit when i am wrong as well.

Correct.

But my question still stands for LDF.

No one believes that Sharp/Keith relationship had anything to do with Sharp getting moved.

The fact is, guys like Seabrook and Keith are too valuable for the Hawks to move them. When you compare Salary to age, Sharp had to go.

A lot of this would have been alleviated if Hossa was signed to a real contract, but those crazy contracts were what happened in those days.

you are correct, one of the biggest hate between players were darryl sutter and terry ruskowsk, b/c of a fight with one of sutter's brothers.

You didn't answer my question, at all.

Find me an actual hockey site, or even a general sports site, that reported on this fight, that didn't go back to Dan Bernstein (local Chicago radio host that has an awful reputation) or Dave Diehl, a retired NFL player with no connection to the Blackhawks.

You mention TSN, ESPN, ect for sites you go to. Find me where they had confirmation of this fight that you are convinced happened. It's a simple request.

just to keep this straight, are you saying that fight never happen???

See, this is why you make me want to rip my hair out.

You gave me a Yahoo article. Did you even read it? It was an article on rumors that have surfaced around the Blackhawks. Where did the rumors start? HE CITES THEM as Dan Bernstein and Dave Diehl. Your RantSports article above also isn't reporting anything, and quoting a source from TerezOwens.

And if you are basing fact off of TerezOwens, then your belief in reality is a lot farther off than I originally believed.

I don't know if a fight happened or not. There has been nothing reported by anyone that has any credibility in the hockey world. My point in this is you consistently take rumor as fact, when a few of us are trying to show that isn't always the case.

you can cherry pick all you want.

first you said he, sharp was traded due to a salary cap, then in all the links, it mentioned that the hawks were trying to trade him then, not after the SC win.

from only 3 links you are talking about 1 link.

sure, a lot of players or people will admit that happen. if it didn't how come the players are not suing those who were quoted for defamation of character. there are a lot of proof that this reporter or that reporter are saying this.

any way, why do i need to keep score if i proved my point to sway other posters.... what will that get me???

but being classy and neutral in all things, is what a admin and mod have... or to up hold a class act.... which i am not seeing in well i will leave it here. you can answer this any way you want.

I see $5.9 million worth of smoke, for a team that is still having cap problems.

And as for mods/admins, no where does it say they have to not have opinions on debates just because they also give of their free time to keep this board running. That is just silly, and isn't what Soxtalk is about.
