(1/2) Blackhawks Penalty kill % in Stanley Cup winning seasons: 2010: 4th (85.3), 2013: 3rd (87.2), 2015: 10th (83.4).

(2/2) Blackhawks PK % in non-Stanley Cup seasons : '11: 25th (79.2), '12: 27th (78.1), '14: 19th (81.5). This season: 26th (78.3). Oof.

I'm not super worried about that stat, honestly. I'm more concerned that going through the western playoffs will make it really hard for any western conference team to win the Cup. The Hawks will probably be favored in any matchup in the west, but getting past any combination of LA, DAL, STL and so forth will make for a tough challenge when Washington, arguably the best team in hockey, is waiting in the SC finals having only beating the pulp out of a weak Eastern Conference.

I'll take the field in the East

The PK is a major concern and one of the only ones the team actually has.

Terrible. Total regression after a stellar 15-20 games. He was very noticeable in the offensive end, and hasn't been a factor since. Q tried to get him going with him sitting in the press box for a few games, but nothing has changed. Also, I feel like I haven't heard Weise's name once the last 3 or so games.

Doesn't seem like he's Q's favorite. I think he needs to stick Desjardins on the 4th line and permanently (for about 8 games) stick Weise on the 3rd

Kings scored again. 3-0

Crawford can't be bad if Keith/Hammer are going to play like this.

To be fair, Crawford hasn't played great either. In fact that second goal was on him.

Certainly. Might as well let Crawford get the bad games out of his system. This deficit is more on him than anyone else. So many juicy rebounds.

After this game, there's no question in my mind Crawford is the MVP of this team.

At worst, it's a tie between he and Kane. Once he cooled off, the offense is nowhere to be found now. One line has essentially carried us all year led by 88. He's in a slump right now and all of a sudden everyone else is too.
