At worst, it's a tie between he and Kane. Once he cooled off, the offense is nowhere to be found now. One line has essentially carried us all year led by 88. He's in a slump right now and all of a sudden everyone else is too.

That's when the rest of the team that wasn't hot while he was is supposed to step up.

Today's game was ugly. Hopefully they're embarrassed about it.

It has been a horrible week, honestly. Would have been good to get more than one point from the Kings, Blues, and Stars games.

Q shaking things up, and at this point you can't blame him. New lines at practice:

Fleischmann-Toews-Kane

Panarin-Anisimov-Hossa

Ladd-Rasmussen-Shaw

Mashinter-Desjardins-Weise

Mashinter doesn't score, make plays, fight, or hit. What is his function?

If I'm the Hawks, I do this:

Toews

Kane

Panarin

Anisimov

Teuvo

Kruger

Hossa (but only if the retirement penalties are removed, I'm not sure anyone really knows what would happen in the case of expansion draft)

Keith

Hammer

TvR

Crawford.

With the Seabrook contract, I'd risk someone taking it.

Depending on how the cap floor rules would be applied to expansion teams, they would almost have to draft a few of the high dollar players to get past the floor level.

For sure. I doubt they bite on Brent Seabrook, but you definitely expose him, anyway.

Another L tonight, but they actually came to play, which is an improvement. Neuvirth was unreal on a few saves tonight.

They came to play, but then they stopped playing for the final 30 minutes of the game, had like 1 or 2 shots in the 3rd until that final flurry.

f***ing Flyers fans everywhere too. The guy sitting next to me was such a f***ing meathead, ugh.

#Blackhawks recall goaltender Michael Leighton.

#Blackhawks announce that Corey Crawford is day to day with an upper-body injury and won't travel to Winnipeg. Hence the Leighton recall.

Jim Nill just said Seguin with cut of Achilles. Out 3-4 weeks.

He was on the ice with the game in hand and 22 seconds left. Tough loss. Could be a game changer going into the final stretch.
