That was on Kane with his head down like that.

Not disagreeing about the hit. I was more disappointed that of all people, it was Panarin who had to step in.

Even though Kane was back on the ice, he looked off the rest of the game. Gotta hope he doesn't have concussion symptoms later.

That has to be the 3rd time in consecutive games Dumba has taken a run at a Hawks player. This time he popped Kane who has gone to the quiet room.

Dumba even looked like he tried to get low on the hit. It looked bad, but more because Kane's head was down.

I was in the car before the 3rd period started, never done that before. I was lucky enough to be at the other Stars game where they scored four in the first too.

I know they have earned the benefit of the doubt and this has happened in March before and we should just enjoy this run, but wow is it starting to look ugly.

Not a lot of good hockey on offense or defense. I'm not worried about the offense, but the defense looks awful.

Kane's slump of sorts has me worried he won't even reach 100 points

I'm more worried about Jaime Benn catching him for the Art Ross. Benn is now 10 points behind Kane with 8 games left for both.

I still don't get why Q doesn't put Keith and Seabrook back together and Ehrhoff or Gustafsson with Hjalmarsson. TVR is useless playing the left side. He's much better on his natural side and playing another painfully slow skater in Rozsival with him is just bad. Either guy should be benched in the playoffs.

I'm not all that worried about that. Benn has been quiet for some time (a lot of assists) and no Seguin slows his production. That being said, last year he tallied something like 16 points in 7 games.

I'm more concerned that a team that runs four fast offensive lines is going to be a problem for the Blackhawks. You saw it yesterday in the first period: 3 fourth line goals. Benn, Spezza et al didn't beat us yesterday. Fiddler, Roussel, Eaves did. I'm all for whatever keeps us away from Dallas. They're Blackhawks kryptonite.

Outside of the 12 game winning streak this team has been extremely mediocre this year. I didn't have high expectations coming into this year with all of the changes, and maybe that winning streak got my hopes up, but there is something missing in this team right now. That makes 4 straight bad games against teams they could have to play in the playoffs.

The Blues kicked our ass last year in the regular season. Anaheim had our number as well. Look how that turned out.

The only things that have me worried is the possession numbers and especially the PK. Of the 3 cup wins, the Hawks PK finished no worse than top 10. We're not going anywhere with a 20 something PK. The Kings rejuvenation reminds me of the Hawks last year. Wouldn't surprise me if they won it again. Don't think I've doubted this core in 6 years. Prove me wrong boys.

Even when they were winning games, they still had the occasional blowout loss where the defense fell apart and Corey couldn't save the day. That's my concern. But hey, two months from now I could see us looking back laughing at the game and freak out last night. Hopefully.

Crawford still not skating and not traveling on the upcoming Western road trip. Time to start worrying yet?

Wouldn't surprise me if he has a concussion. He's had concussion issues in the past.

Aw man. I never even thought about it. That would totally make sense as a day-to-day injury that suddenly becomes week-to-week

Certainly not beyond the realm of possibilities.

At this point, though, I wouldn't worry about winning the division. It doesn't matter a ton for the Blackhawks. Let STL and DAL duke it out.
