flavum
QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Jun 26, 2015 -> 07:57 PM) Call up Erik Johnson. He sure seems ready for another opportunity. Might take 3-4 more weeks.
Balta1701
QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 26, 2015 -> 09:00 PM) He sure seems ready for another opportunity. Might take 3-4 more weeks. Still think waiting until mid-July is the right move with him.
OmarComing25
How bad would Danks have to pitch to finally get kicked out of the rotation? At this point part of me wants him to get completely bombed just to speed up the process. Sunk cost, God damnit.
Chicago White Sox
QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Jun 26, 2015 -> 04:54 PM) Danks isn't going anywhere.... Why? What is the point of keeping him in the rotation? He isn't going to return to his previous form. He is a sunk cost and no one is going to take him. Might as well cut our losses now and move him to the pen. caulfield12
It worked with Lincecum, butbhe's a former Cy Young winner, Edwin Jackson's done okay... And we already have one lefty gas can in Duke now, one more won't hurt, and can't be worse than Jennings.
whitesoxfan99
QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Jun 26, 2015 -> 10:04 PM) How bad would Danks have to pitch to finally get kicked out of the rotation? At this point part of me wants him to get completely bombed just to speed up the process. Sunk cost, God damnit. He is trash and has been since the shoulder injury. He has no business at all being in a major league rotation and that has been obvious for a long time. The fact he hasn't been demoted or traded tells me the Sox don't want to eat his salary. oldsox
Zach Phillips has quietly put together a solid season for Charlotte's bullpen. Plus, he has had limited success in majors previously. He did not pitch last year. Was it TJS? Edited June 27, 2015 by oldsox
oldsox
Check out those batting averages at Great Falls. Yesterday's game had a combined 22 hits, 10 walks, and 21 runs, and it was played in well under three hours.
NorthSideSox72
Sorry for the delay, recap added. I changed the title of the article like 10 times to try not to have it sound really bad.
