YouCanPutItOnTheBoardYES!
I figured I'd try my luck at making a game thread. I'm 0-3 this year when I make a game thread, so hopefully that changes today. What are your predictions for Chris Sale tonight? I'm guessing: 7.1 IP, 5 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 11 K with the WIN. elrockinMT
Let's make a winner of Chris Sale tonite. This would be a real great time for the Sox to step up
Condor13
Sale deserves a win tonight, but unless he throws a CG shutout it's gonna be hard. It's the national league so I say Sale's line is 8 IP, 1 ER, 1 BB, 16 K's and a no decision. Bloke to Choke: Bullpen
OmarComing25
On the bright side, if Lynn shuts down the Sox that means he will be in the game longer and give Sale more K opportunities when he bats.
Whisox05
Last time lynn pitched in 2012 against sox. I remember him mowing down hitters. 7.1 ip, 3 hits, 1bb and set his career high with 12 ks against the sox.

More of the same tonight. 6/30 @whitesox lineup vs STL Eaton CF Abreu 1B Cabrera LF Garcia RF Gillaspie 3B Ramirez SS Flowers C Sanchez 2B Sale P It's hard to do anything when you have basically 5 hitters in the lineup. Would anyone be opposed to the names in a hat approach? I caught the tail end of the Cubs at Cardinals on Saturday, and Kasper was throwing that out there as something Maddon would be one to try in an effort to spark an offense (and it would be entirely unsurprising to me if, stupidly, it worked for him). The Sox are what they are though, so if it got anyone to start hitting in an effort to maybe generate any interest from some buyer...
