Balta1701
@CST_soxvan Saladino playing third, batting second.
YouCanPutItOnTheBoardYES!
I'd rather have him than Beckham to be honest.
Quin
Excited to finally see him up. Maybe we get a situation where he just keeps hitting, so he stays up.
Chisoxfn
This is a good move. I like Saladino as a guy who can play multiple positions on our bench.
BlackSox13
Sounds great to me. Happy to see Saladino get a shot.

YouCanPutItOnTheBoardYES!
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 10, 2015 -> 11:47 AM) This is a good move. I like Saladino as a guy who can play multiple positions on our bench. Which is exactly why Beckham and Bonifacio were on the team to begin with. Balta1701
Just so its said in this thread, this is the corresponding move to Carroll being sent to Charlotte yesterday.
bjm676
I don't except to see Bonifacio with the Sox much longer.
YouCanPutItOnTheBoardYES!
QUOTE (bjm676 @ Jul 10, 2015 -> 11:51 AM) I don't except to see Bonifacio with the Sox much longer. Supposedly he's a "good clubhouse guy" (whatever that means), but he's been awful this year so I wouldn't be sad to see him go.
Soxfest
QUOTE (bjm676 @ Jul 10, 2015 -> 11:51 AM) I don't except to see Bonifacio with the Sox much longer. Hahn really whiffed on EB.
GoSox05
Sure. Nice to see a young player make it to the big league. Couldn't be any worse than the other guys at 3B. I think.
flavum
They produced a position player! Mission accomplished!
YouCanPutItOnTheBoardYES!
QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 10, 2015 -> 11:54 AM) They produced a position player! Mission accomplished! They produced Carlos Sanchez and Gordon Beckham too if that means anything.
southsider2k5
QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jul 10, 2015 -> 11:53 AM) Hahn really whiffed on EB. Bonficio is the one who whiffed. Repeatedly.
Kyyle23
QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 10, 2015 -> 11:54 AM) They produced a position player! Mission accomplished! /end season *applause*
bjm676
@ChiTribKane 10m10 minutes ago Also, Nate Jones begins rehab assignment with Class A Winston-Salem. Depending on how long he needs, my guess would be he returns and one of Beckham/Bonifacio/Saladino departs.

YouCanPutItOnTheBoardYES!
QUOTE (bjm676 @ Jul 10, 2015 -> 11:56 AM) @ChiTribKane 10m10 minutes ago Also, Nate Jones begins rehab assignment with Class A Winston-Salem. Depending on how long he needs, my guess would be he returns and one of Beckham/Bonifacio/Saladino departs. PLEASE be Bonifacio. PLEASE. Beckham deserves a spot on the team solely for defense in the later innings and Saladino should stay for an extended period of time just to see how he does in the big leagues. winninguglyin83
yeah. now send Gillaspie out da door.
Dick Allen
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 10, 2015 -> 11:57 AM) More and more I get the feeling that Bonifacio is next. Maybe, but I am starting to get the feeling Gillapsie is next. They obviously don't like to put him in the field anymore. At least Bonifacio can PR. YouCanPutItOnTheBoardYES!
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jul 10, 2015 -> 11:59 AM) Maybe, but I am starting to get the feeling Gillapsie is next. They obviously don't like to put him in the field anymore. At least Bonifacio can PR. Gillaspie can hit, though he can't play defense. However, Bonifacio can't do either. Gillaspie should stay. Bonifacio should be released.

They obviously don't like to put him in the field anymore. At least Bonifacio can PR. Agreeing with this. Robin clearly hates Conor's defense and his bat isn't even close to offsetting it. NorthSideSox72
Everything you need to know about Tyler Saladino, in our prospect profile. Some folks may not like the swing comp we put on there, but go find some recent videos (ours or anyone's), and tell me you don't see it.
