Wise Master Buehrle
I won't just because Cub fans are so annoying. But if it happens, a Chicago World Series, that is, I'm not going to whine and moan, but take it all in, as it will probably be the first time in another decade it happens. SAVVY18
I'm one of those in the 34.8%. The only time I will root for the Cubs is if they are playing the Twins or Royals or Cleveland. Like Ugly said, they will take away all of our limelight. f*** them. :fthecubs

MurcieOne
I know I'm prolly in the minority here, but when it comes down to it.... I'll root for Chicago to win 10 times outta 10. I wouldn't care if the Cubs go 156-6 as long as the sox kill the cubs in those six games.
IlliniKrush
I found these results really shocking I despise of the Cubs mainly because of their moronic fan base. I never want to see any of those yuppies happy. And for all the people that claim Cubs fans don't care about the Sox as much as the Sox fans care about the Cubs, i think they are wrong. Cubs fans jump at any chance to rip the Sox, our fans, the ballpark, etc. It happens way more often then they like to think.
NUKE_CLEVELAND
No can do if the Cubs make the playoffs, in chicago the Sox will be relegated to: In other news Very true. Doesn't matter though cause even after Houston beats them out the papers will spent their time talking about what might have been for the Flubbs rather than the Sox WS chase. Bighurt52235
I would not want this because you would have mixed crowds. I really want to see an all Sox crowd in the World Series.

Guest hotsoxchick1
f*** the Cubs. They can sit home and watch a real team show how its done. cant argue that one.... im with you....... besides can you imagine the chaos this city would be in if both teams were actually in any playoffs and the world series??? we thought it was bad when the bulls won their first championship.... that would be small potatoes compared to a south /north side ws......i would not want to be anywhere near downtown....... YASNY
I honestly don't know if Chicago could survive a Sox/Cubs World Series.
Al Lopez Ghost (old)
The Cubs are my third favorite baseball team. First is the Sox, Second is a tie, with all of the other major league teams except the Cubs, plus every other minor league team, independent leagues team, college, high school, little league, tee ball and sandlot team, and third is the Cubs. I never want the Cubs to win any game of any sort, mainly because of their fans. A bold prediction: IF the Cubs don't make the post season, and the Sox do, the first thing you'll hear is Cubs fans chirping about attendance. It happens every time. The Critic
A bold prediction: IF the Cubs don't make the post season, and the Sox do, the first thing you'll hear is Cubs fans chirping about attendance. It happens every time. Already happened to me. A Cub fan co-worker said to me yesterday, "playoff tickets go on sale Sunday" I said, "No, Friday." After a mental struggle, he finally realized what I meant. "So, did the Sox call you yet to take some tickets, since no one will buy them?" Then he laughed that half-retarded chuckle-snort of the self-amused until I said, "I read that the Cubs are selling all their playoff tickets through Premier Scalping, just to save time." "NO! REALLY???" then I just smiled............ ...............kinda like that.....

I'd venture to say that no one from Mokena to Willmette and as far west as Oswego would be safe.
