The new power hitting Eaton is intriguing.

Since he started hitting those HR in late June, he's taking very few walks and his batting average is below .250, but .750-ish OPS. He's hitting like a #6 hitter lately.

This is why I keep pointing out his K-rate being so far down from last year. He can't put people away like he did last year. Some days everything will be working and he'll dismantle a team like the Jays, but if everything isn't quite there, he winds up with at bats like the Moustakas HR and the one we just saw.

 

3-2 Royals on the DP. Still a quality start.
