I wasn't able to watch the game, can a brother get some Saladino highlights from the day?

2-4 with two singles at third in game one.

1-2 with a sacrifice at SS in game two. Got caught stealing on a perfect throw by Perez, but had a good jump.

Played good D at both positions. Nearly beat out a throw at first.

Saladino better stay on this damn team

For once a guy is off to a good start stat wise in his debut with the Sox! Of course Abreu last year killed it from the start, but usually guys suck out of the gate with the Sox. But he'll probably be sent down because you can't send down Beckham and they won't want to admit failure on Boni and eat the cash. Who else could get sent down? Maybe DL somebody.

Flowers another game winning hit.

You got to admit, Flowers and Danks are not as bad as many think.

As far as the thread topic ... four runs in 2 games?? Sure you'll take a split. Of course the Royals only got four runs in two games as well. They'll take the split.

The writing is very clearly on the wall for Conor.

You could be right, but I see Saladino being sent down. Conor was a golden boy entering this season. He was supposed to be OUTSTANDING for us this season. Can't see them pulling the plug.

Wait, what?

3B was targeted as one of the glaring holes. And I had more confidence in Conor than most.

He isn't even starting over Beckham against a RHP. And Beckham is hitting under .200, I think Conor will either be put on the DL with a "foot" problem or be released

Maybe Sanchez goes down instead. Conor could be an extra throw -in to a trade in the coming weeks.

Nice game by Danks and good to see Saladino continue to hit and play solid D.

The Sox said they would ride a 6 man pen through this series so for now, Boni and Conor are safe. I'm starting to think Montas was called up specifically to work with Cooper and go back to Birmingham and continue starting. Agreed with those that say Conor appears to be the odd man out since he has the least defensive versatility amount the infielders. After this series, Conor DFA'd and another arm recalled for Tuesday?
