It's more like 9% now, and I have very little confidence that Minnesota will finish above .500. TB and Detroit (without Miggy) both suck. That leaves us 1.5 GB of the Jays (who have no pitching) and the Orioles who are equally as flawed as the Sox. They have as good of a shot as anyone outside of MN, who is probably the worst team of the bunch.

 

However, If the Sox lose 3 in a row here (or maybe even 2/3), I would agree with you, they should trade Shark if the offer is right (which in my mind is a near ML ready impact bat at a premium position). But if those offers were on the table, he would have been traded weeks ago.
