Jose Abreu
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 07:11 PM) 6 games in a row with at least 2 hits for Melky. Also 8 straight games with an RBI
maxjusttyped
I think what happens with Avi this off-season will show us who's in charge between KW or Hahn.
OmarComing25
It's amazing how much I like watching Soto at the plate compared to Flowers. I wish he was more durable and a viable starting candidate.
Bigsoxhurt35
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 06:13 PM) You know things are going well when Avi Garcia walks. Geo
caulfield12
QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 06:13 PM) Está quemando! I'm just going with the literal, lazy ESPN SportsCenter translation.
OmarComing25
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 07:13 PM) You know things are going well when Avi Garcia walks. Except that he didn't, Soto did.
Chisoxfn
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 05:11 PM) 6 games in a row with at least 2 hits for Melky. It is why you, I and others said you had to stay patient with him. Their was a history of success their and the eye test didn't see any noticeable fall-out in terms of his skills. He is regressing back to the mean (in this case, a very good thing). I presume we'd see the same with LaRoche (with slight decline due to normal aging), however, that might be impacted by his health as I think he's hurting. caulfield12
Bonifacio injured. Knee or groin injury...he's definitely coming out.
YouCanPutItOnTheBoardYES!
Maybe he'll have to go to the DL and we can call up Carroll as an extra reliever.
Dick Allen
QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 07:16 PM) Ruh roh At least it is Boni. Hopefully it is a cramp.
CWSpalehoseCWS
I guess that's one way to get Bonifacio off the team... (On a more serious note, I do hope he's ok.)
BigHurt3515
Looks like we will see Leury back up the big club unless they take this opportunity to bring up Micah and have him DH

Y2Jimmy0
Bonifacio is the DH tonight. They can pinch hit for him in his next appearance but I think the pitcher takes that spot afterward.
