ILMOU
Another intriguing day in the Sox minors: http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?c...mp;ymd=20150728 Kanny leading 3-1 in the 9th already - somehow still winning without a whisper of a bat in the lineup. Pitching, YAlmonte today, very good again. Perhaps get Fish, Lassiter there soon? WS - Fulmer (the guy who can put the beloved over the top next year) B'Ham - TBD, perhaps Danish based on timing Charlotte - EJohnson....or will he be elsewhere? ...and the rest. A real chance to have all 4 full season squads finish above 500. When's the last time that happened?
ChiSoxJon
Saw Kanny live again, nothing too big but Almonte pitched very well, and Brito did too, fun team to watch, definitely need to shake up the roster a little bit
Quin
Yency Almonte is getting more and more intriguing. Especially for a guy acquired for two months of Gordon Beckham.
Bruce_Blixton
Offensive eruption from our DSL team today, 19 runs on 11 hits and 16 walks(!). Maiker Feliz is definitely a player to watch next year, hopefully they put him in the AZL and see what he's got. ILMOU
Micah on base twice and two SB already. Dash postponed, no Fulmer, bummer. Edited July 29, 2015 by Stan Bahnsen

GreenSox
Danish has had an awful year. There hasn't been a team top 3 prospect dealt the entire trade-season....let's be sure to trade ours, Williams-style.
Y2Jimmy0
QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 08:31 PM) Anderson didn't play tonight.... Was it after the Bonifacio injury? Any chance he's going to Charlotte with Leury coming back?
flavum
Too early for the prospect tag, but I hope Zavala is a catcher that turns out. We need that.

OmarComing25
Yeah it should be expected Danish would struggle at this level at his age. If he's still pitching like this a year from now I'll start to worry.
GreenSox
QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 10:38 PM) What are you talking about? The Royals dealt two top 3 prospects and the Blue Jays dealt one. Manae is #3, depending on the list. I guess some would consider Hoffman a top 3, but that's debatable; it was also for FOUR years of Tulo., not for .5-1.5 years of rent-a-vet. BamaDoc
They also have Tulo for five or sixth option year and owe him 98 or 109 million after this year. He's 30.
royoung
http://www.chicagonow.com/future-sox/2015/...hnson-is-ready/ Recap posted. Erik Johnson is ready for his second chance, whenever that may be.

Missing one game very likely doesn't mean anything. Besides, if it was a trade, we'd have heard about it by now. These guys do get days off on occasion.
