48-50, 4 back in the WC. 3rd place in the Central. Melky hitting over .500 during the past week.

Unbelievable. Keep it rolling, White Sox.

And this.

White Sox now have won 6 straight and only 4 games out of 2nd wild card. Sox 48-50. After 98 last year, KC was 48-50. Then, World Series

That is an amazing stat about the Royals being 48-50 last year. If Sox truly have found themselves ... wow. If Rodon, Sale, Q and Shark can keep pitching effectively and Danks do well in 50 percent of his starts. If Melky can keep carrying the offense ... Sox could stay in the WC race maybe. You'd think the law of averages would prevent the Sox from following this winning streak with a long losing streak again. THAT CANT KEEP HAPPENING, CAN IT??

I am now drinking the kool aid and loving it.

Dick Allen has to be laughing at us Robin haters. If Sox avoid the usual tank job once this winning streak ends, they may finally be in the one-game WC race for good.

Uh, nice try, but no.

If (1) the Sox continue to move closer in the WC standings (2) Danks continues to be bad and (3) EJ continues to be awesome in AAA, I'm not opposed to moving Danks to the pen and bringing up EJ to be the 5th starter.

The problem is we're running out of space in the pen.

Robertson

Petricka

Duke

Putnam

Webb

Jennings

Albers

Jones (AAA)

We do need a long reliever though, and Danks could probably fill that role pretty well, just not sure how you make room for him & Nate.
