Apparently word is going out that the Tigers are now again willing to listen on Price, Cespedes, Soria, Rajai Davis and Avila.

Not sure about Kinsler...he hasn't had that great of a season, so probably if the right offer came along for him as well.

That's a final in Minny 10-4 Bucs win.

Latest standings:

http://espn.go.com/mlb/standings/_/view/wild-card

Sox now only 3 back in the loss column for the 2nd WC. Huge next two games with Boston and a huge series with TB coming up. These next 10 games could decide the whole season.

It's exciting. We have our two horses going tonight and tomorrow. Hope this offense keeps crushing these s***ty pitchers.

White Sox, Phillies, Braves trifecta tonight would be just swell.

I'm already preparing myself for the overreaction the next time we lose. We've become too accustomed to winning and expecting to move up in the standings.

The thing going against the Sox is that they're red hot now...and then they have to be the best team of the bunch the final 62 games too.

It would be a great thing if they can get these last two games, and then have a solid 4-2 vs Yankees and Rays.

Then, we're in business.

Damn trade deadline is too early.

Every AL team has played at least 100 except the Sox...

100-game records...

KC 61-39

NY 57-43

Hou 55-45

LAA 55-45

Min 52-48 --

Bal 51-49

Tor 50-50

Sox 50-50 or 49-51

TB 49-51

Det 48-52

Tex 48-52

Cle 46-54

Sea 46-54

Bos 44-56

Oak 44-56

I'm going to assume the worst team after 100 games has never been as high as 44-56 before.

Slate tomorrow:

DET@BAL, O's have won 5 straight so it would be nice to derail them a bit

KC@TOR, Umm, Go KC?

SEA@MIN, get hot for 3 games SEA

Since they're starting on a Thursday, one would guess that's 4 games at Minny.

Bad luck for the White Sox here, no Felix Hernandez in a four-gamer.

JA Happ vs. Hughes

T. Walker (rough last four starts) vs. Milone

Montgomery (also rough the last four after dominating) vs. Gibson

Iwakuma vs. Pelfrey

Yankees FRI-SUN

Rodon vs. TBA

Danks vs. TBA

Samardzija vs. TBA

Most likely scenario, Twins split and the White Sox take 2/3. Twins leading by 2. However, with how hot the Yankees are (yes, so are we) and Rodon/Danks both going, anything's possible on the positive or negative side. About the only thing we can predict ahead of time is that Samardzija will go 7+ innings for the 10th or 11th straight time.

The starters for the Yankees are Sabathia, Eovaldi, and Nova in that order. The Sox should be able to take the first and third games in the series, while the Yankees take the middle one.

When is the last time a weekend of baseball played out according to the most likely scenario?

True enough, and Hernandez got lit up Wednesday afternoon anyway.

Maybe the time Cotts started for Buehrle against the Yankees in 2003 and we all knew it was the wrong move...except for Manuel.

Twins are the first AL team done with interleague play. They went 8-12.

44-36 against AL teams, 21-14 against the AL East and West. .600 ball outside the division isn't going to last.

Remaining Twins schedule outside the division, 30 games:

4 vs Sea

4 at Tor

3 vs Tex

3 at NY

4 at Bal

3 at TB

3 vs Hou

3 at Hou

3 vs LAA

If the Twins finish over .500, I'll be surprised. The road trip to NY, Bal, and TB will be their big test.
