Kyyle23
QUOTE (flavum @ Aug 2, 2015 -> 07:28 PM) Next 4 series: LAA 55-49, 3 vs Cle, 3 vs Bal, 3 at Sox, 4 at KC Min 54-50, 4 at Tor, 3 at Cle, 3 vs Tex, 3 vs Cle Bal 53-51, 3 at Oak, 3 at LAA, 3 at Sea, 4 vs Oak Tor 54-52, 4 vs Min, 3 at NY, 3 vs Oak, 3 vs NY TB 52-54, 3 at Sox, 3 vs NYM, 2 vs Atl, 3 at Tex Tex 51-53, 3 vs Hou, 3 at Sea, 3 at Min, 3 vs TB Det 51-54, 3 vs KC, 3 vs Bos, 3 at KC, 3 at Hou Sox 50-53, 3 vs TB, 3 at KC, 3 vs LAA, 3 vs Cubs A 9-3 run wouldn't hurt right about now. Sox need to win games, Twins to fall apart, and the Orioles to have a bad west coast trip the next two weeks. I have to admit when I looked at this and saw the Angels record, i was very surprised. I thought they would be much more than 6 games over .

Really hope those two beat up on each other. I guess Jays taking 2 out of 3 is the best outcome?

GGajewski18
Another Donaldson HR. Is he the favorite for MVP in the AL? Tex, Trout, Cain, have to be up there as well

Balta1701
QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Aug 3, 2015 -> 02:46 PM) Another Donaldson HR. Is he the favorite for MVP in the AL? Tex, Trout, Cain, have to be up there as well I'd still put my money on Trout, especially with the Angels currenlty in the WC spot and the Blue Jays out of it...but close enough I could see it change. flavum
Blue Jays are the second wildcard, on pace for 84 wins. I think they'll easily host the wildcard game, if not catch the Yankees. http://espn.go.com/mlb/standings/_/view/wild-card Edited August 5, 2015 by flavum
caulfield12
QUOTE (flavum @ Aug 5, 2015 -> 07:13 AM) Blue Jays are the second wildcard, on pace for 84 wins. I think they'll easily host the wildcard game, if not catch the Yankees. http://espn.go.com/mlb/standings/_/view/wild-card That's a totally different team since the Tulo acquisition, though. Then Price, their confidence just went right through the roof. They'll easily get to 87-88 maybe 89 wins imo.

Then Price, their confidence just went right through the roof. They'll easily get to 87-88 maybe 89 wins imo. Agreed. I think they'll dominate the final 54. 32-22, at minimum. But 34-20 wouldn't surprise me.
caulfield12
4 gb Blue Jays could tie Angels with a win tonight if CLE holds on...Hector Santiago just got torched by old friend Ryan Raburn, 3-1 lead late. Same exact record as Detroit for Sox.

Past week: Blue Jays 7-0 Angels 4-2 Orioles 3-3 Rays 4-2 Rangers 4-2 Twins 1-6 Tigers 3-3 White Sox 1-5 I really can't see the five current postseason teams falling out of it. Maybe if the Yankees just bomb, and the Orioles get on a run the last five weeks of the season.

That team also gave up a big part of their future for a push that will end in disappointment. Sorry you aren't winning in the playoffs with MB as your #2. As much as I love him. LittleHurt05
QUOTE (staxx @ Aug 9, 2015 -> 07:57 PM) That team also gave up a big part of their future for a push that will end in disappointment. Sorry you aren't winning in the playoffs with MB as your #2. As much as I love him. They haven't made the playoffs in 20+ years. This season won't be a disappointment, sometimes it's worth it to pay extra just for a playoff berth. Plus, Tulowitzki is still gonna be around
