That's what Ibwas wondering... What would it take. Are they at the point where they wood take a guy like Danks, who is on a shorter contract, and a few guys in the 4-15 range?

That would still leave the White Sox about $20-30 million short on their side of things....those are huge contracts for aging veterans who have already peaked and threaten to become among the worst 3-5 contracts in the game, along with CC Sabathia.

Well, at least you're close to the world-renowned Mormon Tabernacle Choir and some beautiful scenery.

Actually is a beautiful state. I'm in Washington now amongst normal people.

Not trying to start anything up here, but remember when everybody except El Rockin and Dick Allen wanted Robin fired? If the team is able to keep this up, he'll be in Chicago for the next 20 years.

BTW, the biggest game of the year is going to be the game after we finally lose. Remember this win streak followed a 4-game losing streak. Fair or not, the team has to prove it's not gonna turn around and lose 5 in a row.

Sanchez just had a sensational AB against a great pitcher

I need a do-over as a fan on this season. I was wrong about him, too. I don't ever want to see Micah again. This Sanchez guy apparently is the real deal.

I admit after supporting him for the longest time I caved in and wanted him fired about a month ago or so. Not so much because I thought he was an awful manager but I just felt enough was enough and something had to be done. Managers are often the scapegoat when a team is consistently bad whether that's fair or not. I'm happier than heck they've righted the ship.

What exactly is *this* that would keep a manager in Chicago for 20 years?
