ChiSox59
I am guessing he has been traded to the Charlotte Knights. Guy only has like 50 ABs this season in the minors, and would hardly but an upgrade over anyone on the 25 man. I do think he has a great glove, though. I remember him a bit from his Dodger days. Jose Abreu
James Fox @JamesFox917 50s50 seconds ago Justin Sellers means nothing. Micah injured. Anderson not ready. Leury, Sanchez, Saladino all in majors. Need depth. #WhiteSox

Dizzy Sox
After this and the Detroit/BJ's trade today, I'm trying to find a Sellers/Price joke but its just not there. Someone help me out!
GreenSox
Charlotte is short of infielders. Maybe Micah's injury will keep him out a while.
Dick Allen
QUOTE (Dizzy Sox @ Jul 30, 2015 -> 03:20 PM) After this and the Detroit/BJ's trade today, I'm trying to find a Sellers/Price joke but its just not there. Someone help me out! Back in 1990, the White Sox surprised everyone and came out of nowhere to compete with Oakland for the AL West crown. It was a longshot. Oakland added Harold Baines and Willie McGee with deadline trades. The White Sox added Jerry Hairston and I am not kidding, Minnie Minoso, so he could play in another decade. The commissioner eventually voided Minnie, and the only reason Hairston was signed was as a favor for his pension. The Ozzeroo was not happy. Donny Lucy's Avocado Farm
Justin Sellers is pretty meh.... Dodgers minor league fodder, made the majors 2 seasons ago due to injuries... banished back to minors when MLB players returned.

elrockinMT
Taken from Whtesox.com website: The White Sox have reportedly added Triple-A shortstop Justin Sellers in a trade with the Pirates, though nothing has been confirmed by either club. After missing the first three months of the season with an Achilles injury, Sellers hit .288/.339/.308 in 52 at-bats in the Pirates' Minor League system. He has spent time at second and third base this season, to go along with shortstop. Sellers has yet to play in the Majors this year after he went 3-for-16 in 17 games for the Indians last season. A sixth-round pick of the A's in 2005, Sellers spent his first three seasons with the Dodgers, with whom he batted .198/.280/.294 with three home runs. AJ Cassavell is a reporter for MLB.com. NorthSideSox72
Minor league filler, likely a cash deal. Won't have traded anything of value for him.
