#WhiteSox hitters last in the majors in fWAR, so almost any upgrade would make sense. Main need: 3B, a position of scarcity in industry.

Todd Frazier is out of the line up tonight

Frazier would be a pretty big get and go with a longer-term plan. I just think the price would be so steep that it wouldn't make sense. Plus, you have to admit Saladino has provided a nice spark, but Frazier is a clear upgrade and Tyler will probably have an adjustment phase now that teams are getting more footage on him.

I think both are major needs, but that is because I don't buy Saladino at 3B long-term.

I mean purely in terms of this season.

I don't buy Saladino long term at 3B, but after his first month in the bigs I'm at least willing to let him try.

His bat could play a lot better at SS but that would need Alexei out of the way.

Could make sense to wait til the offseason on that position and run with this IF for now.

I would not trade Beckham for Sandoval.

LOL: Five years, 95 million total. Club option in 2020 for another 17 million. He's hitting .262 with eight homers and 34 RBI. Yet another example of a guy fans/teams celebrated signing and now are desperate to get rid of and drop the salary. My favorite sport of baseball is run by idiots. 17 million a year for that guy. Amazing.

RF is a bigger need.

They're both needs, but I'd say 3B is tougher to fill because it is so hard to find a good 3Bman anywhere around the majors, whereas there are usually a few good OFs available at any given time.
