Harry Chappas
Why is Daubach playing today? I know he's a lefty, but hell, he screwed up the game last night and hasn't played in a while. Should have played PK today, bad call JM. Can you post the lineups?
aboz56
Was him or the ump? I was forced to listen to the radio at that point and they made it sound like it hit him and the ump screwed up...so what the heck did happen? What happened was that Daubach choked when it counted most. Nothing wrong with what the ump did, Daubach CHOKED.

Queen Prawn
it was him for that one 14.. the upm did his job right ...... Okee dokee. Thanks to both of ya (HSC1 and abozichiu), I really had no idea what happened as they seemed to talk in circles about that on the radio. Thanks to both of ya (HSC1 and abozichiu), I really had no idea what happened as they seemed to talk in circles about that on the radio. Basically, the short version goes like this. Daubach, who hadn't had an at-bat since 1988 (or so it seemed), came up against a tough pitcher in Hawkins. He proceeded to swing at a tough first pitch and hit it about 14 inches and didn't even run to first. This, in my humble opinion, is inexcusable. brijames
this is the most important game of the year to date. A win and were 2 up a loss and were tied. A huge two game swing is on this game. The twinkies are in the drivers seat with a win. With their schedule of playing the Indians and Tigers while the Sox are playing Boston and the Yankees they are going to feel great coming out of this series tied. I'm sorry but a Sox loss today and I really think were in big trouble.
Queen Prawn
I C. Didn't Mankeiahfakgd (I think it was him) do the same thing Monday? The way it sounded on the radio was that it hit him in the thigh and dribbled away.

That was a HORRIBLE at bat, finalized by the guy not even trying to run. I wasnt happy, either.

winninguglyin83
last week everybody was jumping on Jose -- he hit a home run now it's time to pile on Daubach. His turn to mute the crowd. it's up to Estey, first this really is a playoff game
