Soxplosion
Loaiza failed when we needed him most. Hes not our Cy Young and hes damn sure not the AL Cy Young...
LowerCaseRepublican
Loaiza failed when we needed him most. Hes not our Cy Young and hes damn sure not the AL Cy Young... Yes because Loaiza has been terrible all season. If it wasn't for him we wouldn't even be in the goddamn race right now for you to b**** about Roman. Capn12
Loaiza failed when we needed him most. Hes not our Cy Young and hes damn sure not the AL Cy Young... You're kidding, right.....I mean really, you are joking I hope. When this team was dead in the water in April and May, who was the only pitcher that was worth a f***? I'll give you a hint: its the non-roster invitee from Spring Training.
JUGGERNAUT
This was not about E-LO as much as it was about Radke. I was feeling dred facing both Santana & Radke this series. They have been pretty much the best starters in the ALC for the last month & a 1/2 now. I now people don't like to see it this way, but this is how the series matched up rotation wise: Sox #1 vs Min #3 : Sox Won Sox #2 vs Min #4 : Sox Won Min #1 vs Sox #4 : Min Won Min #2 vs Sox #3 : Min Won It's all about pitching & Manuel's stupidity when it comes to matchups. If we lose this division it will be mostly because of Manuel's stupidity in managing the lineup, rotation, & bullpen. <- MLB sense into JM
Flash Tizzle
Not that it's as bad as the sox losing today, but it doesn't help me feel any better. Halladays final games left in the rotation: -DET -TB -CLEV. Loaizas.........: -MIN -NYY -KC Detroit can really play a big role in not only our post season chances, but Loaizas Cy young candicy. It will really be hard to believe Halladay will somehow collapse over the next three starts, but Loaiza definately needs to atleast win 2/3 to keep his chances alive. SoxFanForever
Loaiza failed when we needed him most. Hes not our Cy Young and hes damn sure not the AL Cy Young... Yet another intelligent and thought out post presented by Roman. Jesus, f***ing think before you post something. This has to be one of your better ones lately. Soxplosion
I could really care less about Loaizas run for Cy Young. Im honestly not a big fan of his. I care more about the pennant race. And so far, hes not doing a good job of supporting the team in it. The guy whos really stepped up big down the stretch and is my Cy Young, is Colon. Hes done everything possible to help us win. Loaizas fallen in the last two starts and this last one could end up killing us. Also, dont get down on Loaizas chances for Cy Young. In the last three years the first man to 20 has failed to win the award. It aint over yet...
SoxFanForever
Are you a big fan of anyone on this team? You go through this ever time we go through a stretch of a few losses. It is getting real old.
Soxplosion
Frank. I love Frank. I also like Lee, Everett, Marte and Colon.

Soxplosion
This was the series of the year. Colon, my MVP, stepped up. Buehrle, who I so passionately hate, stepped up. Garland, even tho the offense screwed him over, stepped up. Loaiza, who is supposedly the reliable ace, sucked...
Capn12
Frank. I love Frank. I also like Lee, Everett, Marte and Colon. What a coincidence....all those guys are on hot streaks right now. Not sure how you can consider a pitcher who has given up 4 or more ER in 12 of his 30 starts your "Cy Young"

The Bones
Colon has stepped up when it counts. Loaiza has not... When does it count? The games at the beginning of the year count the same as games at the end of the year you win, it counts a win, you lose, it counts as a loss. You're really starting to sound ridiculous. Quit while you're behind.

LowerCaseRepublican
Colon has stepped up when it counts. Loaiza has not... Yeah a 13-12 pitcher has really stepped it up. Loaiza has just won 19 games and stopped the bleeding a lot of the time and pitched phenomenally for the most part. But I guess that's not stepping it up.
