Balta1701
Congrats to Jose Abreu & Adam Eaton, who have been named co-AL Players of the Week (July 27-August 2)! Abreu, 28, batted .400 (10-25) with three doubles, three home runs, 10 RBI, seven runs scored, a .500 on-base and .880 slugging percentage to earn his second career weekly honor (also April 21-27, 2014). He currently owns a 13-game hitting streak (.367, 18-49), his sixth career streak of 13 or more games. Eaton, 26, hit .517 (15-29) with three doubles, a triple, home run, four RBI, 10 runs scored and three stolen bases for his first career weekly honor. He led the AL in average, on-base percentage (.600) and runs scored. Eaton has hit safely in a season-high 11 consecutive games (.455, 20-44) and has scored a run in 10 straight contests, the longest streak by a White Sox player since Jim Thome opened the 2006 season with a franchise-record 17-game streak. Eaton leads the AL after the break in runs scored (18) and on-base percentage (.532) and ranks among the leaders in average (5th, .410). Abreu and Eaton are the first White Sox teammates to share the weekly award. Link

Knackattack
Eaton being on such crazy fire really set up Melky and Abreu for success. At this point Adam is, in my opinion, the third most valuable player on the team (maybe 4th if you value Q higher) behind Sale and Abreu
