It all comes down to what he swings at. The other day he swung at every pitch during an AB except one. That was the only.strike, and he fanned. If he makes pitchers trow him strikes, he should be really good, if not, he is what he is. He will always have flashes.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say he'll be fine. He works hard and plays hard.

He's made adjustments and it's better. Hope he keeps it up

He gets hot once in a while. He's like the team, really. Constant roller coaster. I think we all hope he makes it big. He does look like he tries.

BLIND SQUIRREL POWER!

No, he's an average catcher. There aren't many catchers out there that can hit. Look at Soto ... one might argue he cost us the game the other day getting picked off.

It's great Avi had a good night, but he still only has an OPS of .701 AFTER his home runs tonight. Temper the excitement a little, he has still had a miserable season.

Also his basically rookie season.

I'm fine with it. People, including myself, had unreasonable expectations for basically a first year player.

Well, you got to enjoy the good nights, right? He looked like a ballplayer today.

I can't help it if you guys constantly bag on two of my favorite Sox, Danks n Flowers.
