That's crazy, I love the bulls. This year has killed me. For 5 years I had a frustrating team that had a talent for delivering giant-killing performances but was never good enough. And I was fatigued by that and thought it was annoying.

This year taught me what annoying really was, being basically the 2000-2009 milwaukee bucks.

The Tribune website changed its payment/free article structure literally just a few hours ago, if that is the point of contention/confusion

Provide a link, that's all we ask. Pay or no pay, but especially pay. I provided the link to the article he posted in full

Why in the world would the Kings want Gasol?

Am I missing something?

I worry that even though Gasol plays 15 fee out often, it would still end up pushing Boogie farther out rather than give him more room.

Rumor out there that the Bulls are discussing Jahlil Okafor with 76ers. I have no idea who the Bulls could trade other than Butler to net Okafor.

If I would say there is a zero percent chance of the Bulls getting Okafor, would it be considered too optimistic?

I would bet my life savings* that the Bulls couldn't pull off something that bold.

*All $29.38 of it.

New setup or old, it doesn't matter. If you copy too much of an article and post it somewhere else, you can be sued for copyright infringement. There are people paid to troll the internet looking for lawsuits to file. Soxtalk as a site has no interest in being sued, so we don't allow it. You can post a preview or snippet from an article, but that is it. The link is necessary to direct people to the rest of the article.

Bulls get Okafor, McLemore and Bellinelli

Kings get Pau Gasol

76ers get Nikola Mirotic, Doug McDermott, the kings 1st rounder which they agree to unprotect, and Bulls 1st rounder. That gives them up to 6 first round draft picks, lol.

Please no Okafor, just no. He's a volume player, empty carbs. Puts up numbers, but not gonna help you win, especially in today's NBA.

I agree, but the guy's still a rookie. If you can turn Niko, Gasol, and Snell into Okafor, that'd be one hell of a trade.

Why would the Kings do that deal? They'd essentially get half a season of Gasol for McLemore, Bellinelli, and a draft pick, no?

The Bulls own the draft pick. You can put back the rwstriction although I dont think itll matter anyways. McLemore and Bellinelli for Gasol wouldn't be bad for them.

I have to believe some of this is exasperated by being on PHI.

That said, Okafor does not sound like the player that works in Hoiberg's offense.

But the thing about that is that we don't run Hoiberg's offense, so that point becomes moot
