bmags
I was excited for this season after the first few preseason games but the defense really looks terrible.
knightni
Hypothetical elimination from a FB thread. Four Hall of Fame or future HOF guys that you can build your team with, but you can only take three of the four. Who do you leave off and what order would you take them? Michael Jordan Kobe Bryant Lebron James Magic Johnson

CrimsonWeltall
QUOTE (knightni @ Oct 19, 2015 -> 07:26 PM) Hypothetical elimination from a FB thread. Four Hall of Fame or future HOF guys that you can build your team with, but you can only take three of the four. Who do you leave off and what order would you take them? Michael Jordan Kobe Bryant Lebron James Magic Johnson Kobe gets cut. He's the slightly-less-rich man's MJ. I also think he and Jordan would butt heads, while LeBron and Magic seem likely to get along with anyone.
Jenksismyhero
I'm confused, are these all on the same team? Or do you just get to pick one and one only?

Jordan/Lebron/Kobe. You leave off johnson because he is the worst defensive player by far, but I'll take his 5 positions and distribution, as the team would do much better without kobe/mj hero ball. bmags
QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 20, 2015 -> 02:54 PM) Yeah, Jordan and Lebron don't make anyone else better. His statement is that he makes his teammates better, better than those 3. Lebron had much worse talent around him than Magic ever did though, so I'm not sure I agree. southsider2k5
QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 20, 2015 -> 03:14 PM) His statement is that he makes his teammates better, better than those 3. Lebron had much worse talent around him than Magic ever did though, so I'm not sure I agree. Magic's career was anchored by the NBA's all time leading scorer, plus another Hall of Famer in Worthy. LeBron did have the four years in Miami with Bosh and Wade, but still managed to make finals with teams that literally had no one of historical note. Magic didn't win a title without those guys. He did get to the finals once without Kareem, but still had a prime Worthy.
