I'm pulling for LeBron because I just don't want to see him drop to 2-5 in the finals. Just doesn't seem right that a GOAT talent should have 5 finals losses on his resume, especially since only 1 of the previous 4 was on him.

I would prefer if LeBron and Cleveland never win ever again

It has nothing to do with Cleveland for me. I just don't like LeBron. #salty4everover2010

To me, THE DECISION, and it wasn't his idea surely but he went along with it...will always be negatively associated with LeBron.

I've always admired him as an incredible athlete who can do things at that size that nobody has ever done, especially from a passing standpoint (ala Magic Johnson but that's a bad comp) as well as his sheer will to get through traffic jams and power to the rim. Like MJ, he's worked extremely hard to make his outside jump shooting game a legit weapon when needed. LeBron's happiest is when he has a strong cast of players around him who are improved by his presence collectively rather than him having to individually will a team to victory, like we saw in CLE in the beginning and again last season due to injuries.

If he wins this Finals and can defeat the Warriors, then you're coming closer to making a compelling argument for GOAT. On the other hand, you have his hand-picked All-Star team in Miami that was forced upon us...not 100% sure that Curry's fully healthy, but this is about as close as we're ever going to get as a match-up with both teams and stars at their peaks.

It should be an interesting series. It's hard seeing the Cavs winning due to their defense. The Warriors are going to be running that 1/4 pick and roll with Love and Kyrie in it until Cleveland is forced to bench one of them for longer periods of time (likely love). Even Toronto was having success when running that against them and the Warriors do it better than anybody.

Cleveland would have had a much better chance against OKC, but who knows what can happen. Golden State hasn't exactly looked unbeatable these playoffs.

I said "compelling argument," not that I personally agreed.

Jordan was a better defensive player, and at his peak was Defensive Player of the Year...we can't say the same thing about James, sometimes he's great and sometimes he's disinterested, depending on his motivation and the situation.

MJ would just strip away your manhood as a defender.

LeBron wants to win, but Jordan had such sheer force of will to win in any and everything he competed in, the most competitive athlete I've even seen in my lifetime, along with Tiger Woods from 1997-2006/07.

Now, of course he had Pippen, Grant and later Rodman, but that doesn't take away from his greatness IMO.

And Jordan hit so many freakin' clutch shots with that line drive jumper of his, going all the way back to the National Championship game in 1982. There's no doubt who I would choose to take the ball with 10-12 seconds left on the shot clock. Jordan would never, ever defer in that situation, he would figure out someway to get the ball in the hole.

Bulls bringing in Schaefer is a good move and supposedly they are also bringing in Gaines (who is Butler's guy, but also has a really strong rep and is supposed to be a player friendly guy). Gaines trains a ton of NFL guys (including Kyle Long) and is currently training with Taj, Butler and Snell in LA and is expected to also work with Rose (who is supposedly joining those other three guys in LA this week).

I think most Bulls fans don't like him for the same reason.

Originally yes, but I've come to hate him more as a whiner and flopper. I know a ton of guys flop but it is not befitting of a player that is supposed to be considered the greatest IMO. I'm not over the decision either though, not because he didn't come to the Bulls, but he left to play with his chosen "All Star" team to guarantee some championships.

With that said, I though he was funny in Trainwreck with Amy Schumer. But Go Warriors.

I've come around to liking LeBron again since he went back to Cleveland. I'm with J4L, he deserves better than a 2-5 Finals record.

He had no chance that first year in 2007. 2011 was on him. 2014 everybody around him brokedown, sucked, etc. And then last year he was trying to win with Matthew Dellavedova as his #2 option. Now he's going up against 73 wins. 2-5 is 2-5 if it happens. Just doesn't seem fair to me. No matter how you feel about him.

How can anyone root for a guy that plays like this?

The one with Paul George (1:45) is so awful.

Yeah, he makes amazing plays. He's an amazing player. But he's a guy that is SO good and SO athletically gifted he doesn't need to resort to this crap. This is reason #1 why I don't like him and don't root for him. The Decision, going to Miami, his dominance of the Bulls, etc. are far down the list.

Worse than 2:53?

Haha, thankfully the Nazr shove made it in there.

The bigger question, do you buy more Under Armour stock, lol?

Nike has really been getting beaten up by Adidas and the price point on the Curry shoes.

I have never put on a pair of Adidas shoes that have felt comfortable. I hate their material and the way their shirts fit. I will never buy anything from them. Nike shoes are what I will always get. They should pay me for my endorsement.
