He only played most of those guys because injuries forced him to.

Asik and Taj were coming together at the same time. I don't recall injuries forcing him to give them minutes. Niko was part of the rotation from the start of the season. When he won rookie of the month, he had an even greater role due to injuries, but he still got minutes. Butler might have gotten some additional minutes due to injuries, but he came through as well. I'm just saying, Bulls have a great track record of drafting under Paxson and Gar and Thibs also should get credit for the record of developing.

Their were misses but given where they were picking, what they've done is pretty impressive, imo. With exception of Pax dealing Aldridge.

Injury to Boozer and Noah forced both Taj and Asik into the rotation early in the season in 2010

But they were going to get their minutes anyway. It wasn't like they weren't getting played / weren't going to get minutes based upon the construction of that lineup.

Taj maybe, Asik was glued to the bench until Noah went down

If Thibs was still the coach people would be freaking out that Portis didn't play.

Watching rotations yesterday and now close the game was, I didn't see room for him yesterday. Hope tonight is a blow out and we can see him.

Looked like it would be a blowout, but Brooklyn came back. 56-55 bulls

I strongly disagree. With the exception of his first 3-4 4th quarter minutes, he has been good on both ends.

I started watching mid-way through the 3rd. He had missed all of the shots I watched him take. He also let Brown score on him fairly easily.

His line for the game is decent though.

Yup, he has had 4 bad minutes and you happened to turn on the TV right when they started. He has had a very good game overall.

Butler, Rose, Gasol, and Mirotic were all spectacular tonight.

Snell, Noah, and Moore were decent.

Gibson, McDermott and Hinrich were meh.

Brooks was bad.

Overall, a good game. 2-0.

Niko with another great game.

Jimmy got 19 points on 9 shots.

Mirotic's 3-point shot already looks more efficient than last year's (from these 2 games and the preseason). I can tell he worked on it over the summer. he was onle 30/31% last year

Brooks was not bad. He was pretty efficient when in the game. I don't know how 12 points, 3 assists, 1 rebound and 1 turnover on 5-9 is bad.

Noah and Gibson were bad.
