If Thibs was still the coach people would be freaking out that Portis didn't play.

Nope. We would have complained about Mirotic still not playing enough. Mirotic never would have scored all those points in the Cavs game because as soon as he let up that dunk he would have been on the bench.

.@JimmyButler tonight:

24 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds. 9-11 from the field, 3-3 from downtown.

Butler hit some tough shots tonight too. He was a beast at the end of the game. I've been impressed with Noah. He looks far more active and athletic then he did at any point last year. I think we'll see him gain confidence (which is huge for Joe) and we will see a player closer to 2 years ago vs. last year Jo (and that was really because last year Jo was so bad).

Brooks was not bad. He was pretty efficient when in the game. I don't know how 12 points, 3 assists, 1 rebound and 1 turnover on 5-9 is bad.

Noah and Gibson were bad.

Noah was doing his part on the glass. Offensively he was rough but he's looked athletic and solid defensively. I've been very pleased with him and Taj thus far and think they'll be a nice second unit. Both look more explosive then last year. They are both still rusty though on the other end.

But what? This team finally runs plays and sets. His rotations are also golden so far.

My post was somewhat in jest but it was more a dig at how the offense was suppose to be so much better with him.

I didn't see the game. What happened.

Rose held it in isolation at the three point line for too long, started his drive too late, and took a bad step back jumper that wasn't even close. Ultimate Hero Ball possession.

It was a failed reenactment of his game winner against GSW last season.
