Jose Abreu
QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Aug 11, 2015 -> 09:49 PM) Here's what will happen. We'll sweep the Angels, creating even more hype for the Sox/Cubs series. We'll sweep the Cubs, securing the Crosstown Cup and a 57-58 record. Then, we lose 8 in a row. Bigsoxhurt35
Good to see Rodon dominate and strike out great players (Trout, Pujols). Cool seeing Trayce get his first Hr
Jose Abreu
Shoutout to Melky, Petricka, and Robertson as well for good games.
CaliSoxFanViaSWside
Rodon , Thompson. Melky with 2 RBI on his 31st birthday . Sox with just 4 hits , Angels 5 but Angels in the midst of playing terribly on the road. It's not who you play but when you play them . Jose Abreu
QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Aug 11, 2015 -> 09:54 PM) Rodon , Thompson. Melky with 2 RBI on his 31st birthday . Sox with just 4 hits , Angels 5 but Angels in the midst of playing terribly on the road. It's not who you play but when you play them . Thanks, Hawk. But yes. We caught the Yankees in their best offensive spurt of the year, and on the other hand, played the Red Sox when they couldn't do anything right (I know they suck this year but they were in a bad stretch when we played them on the road). Quin
QUOTE (raBBit @ Aug 11, 2015 -> 10:08 PM) He's 3 for his last 20. So he is heating up!

CaliSoxFanViaSWside
QUOTE (raBBit @ Aug 11, 2015 -> 08:20 PM) While 0-3 is definitely better than his usual 0-4, I wouldn't quite call that heating up. Predicting is all about the future son not the present
greg775
The roller coaster is back. Not that I'm complaining. I like when the Sox are in a positive trend. You just have to be ready for the negative trend after it maxes out at four wins in a row and 7 of 8. As far as Flowers, he is having a lousy year numbers wise; only 29 RBIs and a horrific on base percentage entering tonight but he also had only 259 plate appearances. It's not like he's getting all of the at bats. Soto has a much better on base percentage in his 153 plate appearances. But he's RBI deficient as well with 19. he gone.
Let's get that sweep tomorrow! Get the easier part of the Cubs rotation this weekend. Angels go on to play the Royals after this .... Baltimore losing right now... Shhhh... Just let me be excited for a night.

Jerksticks
Now now the box score doesn't tell you crap about those laser beams Flowers hit at Featherstix. When was the last time Flowers hit two missile line drives in the same game? When's the last time he made contact in consecutive weeks?? He's red hot gents. Dick Allen
QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Aug 11, 2015 -> 10:50 PM) Hasn't Sal Perez done that himself? As of last week, White Sox catchers have a higher WAR than KC catchers, and Soto had a higher WAR than Perez. This was the firat time ever all 15 home teams won.
