iamshack
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Aug 12, 2015 -> 08:06 PM) At the game, what happened? Ump called something I assumed out of the baseline. Did he call interference on Beckham wtf??? The Angels announcers are speculating he called interference on Ramirez for running into the runner, even though it is clear Ramirez did not touch him. Jose Abreu
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Aug 12, 2015 -> 10:06 PM) Dammit Abreu, you have to come home there. Interference on Alexei Ramirez? Abreu thought the possible double play would wipe out the run? Had to come home, never looked at the runner on third. Well, it would've...
Thad Bosley
QUOTE (lord chas @ Aug 12, 2015 -> 10:05 PM) Hawk was so close to cursing That's why I still love him as an announcer. No cookie cutter broadcaster reaction. Real time, real fan reaction. Much prefer that, any day of the week.
fathom
Correct play was Abreu to go 3-6-3 on that. He should know that Conor is slow as hell.

caulfield12
White Sox just don't have enough "baseball smarts" to win these types of games. Meanwhile, the Cubs have won 24 one-run games this year.
SCCWS
QUOTE (Soxfest @ Aug 12, 2015 -> 11:06 PM) Fundamental mistakes are 100% fault of the coaching staff game after game Hawk. HuH???? 100%. So the player has zero fault...........

CaliSoxFanViaSWside
QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Aug 12, 2015 -> 08:06 PM) How is that interference lol I don't see how it was either. Alexei got out of the way, runners path wasn't altered at all.
Rowand44
QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Aug 12, 2015 -> 10:07 PM) Well, it would've... Not the way he was trying to turn it.
South Side Fireworks Man
QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Aug 12, 2015 -> 10:07 PM) Well, it would've... No, not once the force play was off by Abreu tagging first. If the runner crosses home before the third out is made in the rundown the run counts. Dick Allen
QUOTE (iamshack @ Aug 12, 2015 -> 10:07 PM) The Angels announcers are speculating he called interference on Ramirez for running into the runner, even though it is clear Ramirez did not touch him. On about the third look, it looks like the runner hit Alexei's glove with his left hand. Still a weak call.
greg775
If we had a good team, we'd win it right here. No reason to not sweep this series. Can't believe Abreu pulled such a mental miscue. If you concentrate at all we win the game. Little Leaguers know what to do when the ball is hit to them, but not Abreu there.

caulfield12
When does lack of situational awareness growing up in the Cuban leagues fall onto the coaching staff...because that kind of play just can't happen? You've gotta know what you're supposed to do there...but how many times have they practiced it with Jose? Last year, they tried to keep him off his feet as much as possible. harkness99
QUOTE (Knackattack @ Aug 12, 2015 -> 10:06 PM) This isn't on Robertson. He made the pitch, the D just effed it up. A lot of it was on Robertson. The 1-2 pitch he threw was a meatball over the plate.
