QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Aug 16, 2015 -> 02:27 PM)
Sale's PC is getting too high for... you know. I remember Edwin Jackson threw 149 pitches for his when he was with Arizona.

Unless he gets a few 3-7 pitch innings in there, "it which shall not be named" will not happen by only him

We do know that Robin doesn't mind leaving him out there for a long time, though. 127 once, IIRC

If Robin leaves him out there for 127 in this weather he should have his head examined

I said it before no way he's pulled in the midst of a no-no. Not a chance robin takes away potentially the only moment sox fans will remember from 2015 especially given the opponent.

good point

QUOTE (Mike F. @ Aug 16, 2015 -> 02:34 PM)
Would you really want him to be pulled in the 8th or 9th inning with a no-hitter going just because of a pitch count?

Yes. I value health over a no hitter
