I believe Nightengale. I wonder why JR wants a buffer between himself and Hahn, and didn't ever need one with KW. He must not like some of his ideas.

I can think of 1 major idea he probably doesn't like. (Rebuilding)

But he did it with Himes, and a quick one with Schueler. Of course he has not a lot of time to waste. If does seem if Hahn is set on a rebuild and that isn't what JR wants, Hahn probably shouldn't be in his current position. JR does seem to be getting a little cranky in his old age.

If Robin is coming back, then I'm sorry, but there will be no point for me to invest in any way, shape or form into next season. It will free up a whole lot of free time for myself without the Sox. Maybe I'll get to those hobbies or never realized dreams I've never started. So in that way, thank you Sox. But a big F U to Jerry.

#WhiteSox VP Kenny Williams says he is flattered about rumored outside interest but he's also comfortable in Chicago

Kenny Williams a few minutes after talking to reporters: "All right, what did I say this time that's going to get me in trouble?"

You know what, that's a reasonable position to have. If Robin is back there is no way the team will change its identity of this nonachieving lazy mistake filled bunch of ballplayers. I LOVED Robin as a player but it's true. How the hell is this team going to next April 1 turn this around? It can't. Unless he totally changes, starting in spring training with a military like camp (which he won't do) and thousands upon thousands of ground balls, fly balls to fielders; situational hitting; situational baserunning drills, nothing can possibly change. Even if its change for change sake. I can see why you'd skip the season as a fan. Cause there's no way in hell we're going to finish over .500 with Robin. It's just true.

That's actually pretty damn funny. Kudos to Kenny on that one.

I already don't watch much sox ball because I f***ing hate Robin as manager. This team is lazy, dumb and sucks. I can't wait til the offseason. f*** Shark too. How do you suck so bad in a contract year? f***ing bum

Here's some great quotes from KW where he talks about himself like he's f***ing Theo or some s*** with a proven record of producing winner after winner:

Williams said that when he was linked to Toronto last winter he was flattered by a show of support around the Sox organization and its fan base.

“It’s flattering when these possibilities come up and your name is in the mix,” Williams said. “The second thing is the outpour of people around here in the front office and fans on the street saying ‘hey, we appreciated what you’ve done and we always get the sense the White Sox are trying to win a championship and going for it.’ The expressions kept coming in and in and I never knew, I never felt that and that’s kind of nice. It’s nice that people paid attention to your work over the years, that’s all.”

Come on man, are you for real? You are an average GM that fluked into a WS in your 10+ year tenure. Thanks for being better than most of the s*** history of the franchise but you are nothing special.

I don't watch that much currently but it has nothing to do with the manager. The White Sox don't have enough good players. That's why they are a below average team.

here he is making lite of a fvvck up situation that he put the sox in. he should really go and put his head in sand as a course for the embarrassment this team is in.

You've figured out the secret to winning games - hopefully Hahn or Ventura is reading this thread.

Robin will never do it. I'm sure having a very difficult, no nonsense camp is probably against baseball's nonwritten "rulebook." You've got to just "get your work in" and "be professional" even when these guys need to be pushed as much as football players in many cases.

That's why we need a new voice. Robin isn't gonna put them through fundamental boot camp. He's gonna continue to run the kind of camp he probably enjoyed most as a player. If Robin can turn it around I'll be amazed, happy but amazed.
