supernuke
I'm going to be in Arlington Heights next week for work and I have free nights on Monday and Wednesday so I am looking for some suggestions for things to do. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
Kyyle23
There are a lot of really good restaurants downtown. I have been going to a mexican restaurant called Javiers since I was a kid (back when it was called La Te Juanita) and it is still excellent. Wildfish is an really good sushi restaurant, Ditkas near the racetrack is good, Peggy Kinnanes is a fun Irish pub here is a few lists for you http://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurants-g29...s_Illinois.html http://www.yelp.com/search?find_desc=Resta...n+Heights%2C+IL

supernuke
Thanks for the suggestions. Sucks that the Sox are on the road next week. How difficult/how much money would it cost to get into Chicago for an evening?
SoxFan562004
QUOTE (supernuke @ Aug 27, 2015 -> 03:24 PM) Thanks for the suggestions. Sucks that the Sox are on the road next week. How difficult/how much money would it cost to get into Chicago for an evening? If you're up for a train ride, it wouldn't be too hard, believe the UPNW line runs from Arlington Heights to the city. bmags
if you have a lot of stuff to do for work it would be a pain to get there and back on metra at night where less trains run, plus they are taking you to the loop which isn't really a bastion of nightlife on its own.
