He has nothing on these pitches. Just give Montas his starts going forward.

NO. He's gotten a boost of 30 innings over 2014 already, a few outings out the bullpen will push that closer to 40. That's a good number.

EJ, fine. Montas, bullpen.

Bruce Levine --- he pitched through injury most of the season due to his loyalty

Joe Cowley-----organizational turmoil caused him to lose focus and drive for organization

Rick Telander ------pressure of contract status leds to lackluster performanace

Dan Bernstein------Cooper no Bosio; Kenny no Theo; Reinsdorf no Rickets; Sox Fans no clue

Levine has asked him several times about a possible injury as an excuse. Samardzija has answered he was fine each time.

Huh? I'm pretty sure FIP doesn't like HR balls either.

His FIP is 4.08, his ERA 4.85. I have watched most of the games. I don't think defense costs him 3/4 of a run per 9 innings, over the number errors do, which is already built into his ERA, unless they want to set up in the seats. Although that is still a HR.

Definitely not a lot of soft contact against him this year
