greg775
Of course our country is totally engulfed in not wanting to offend anybody and political correctness. I think George Will makes about a dozen good points in this column, listing many many things we could be outraged about if we elected to be outraged. For instance, Washington D.C.'s name should be changed and so should the name of the state of Oklahoma. Several more examples. I think Trump is awesome for battling back against political correctness cause as Will points out, where do we draw the line?? I mean he makes a perfect point that the state of Oklahoma's name should be changed as well as the name Washington, D.C. Tons of good examples. The P.C. people won't read it or will just say George Will sucks. Might want to broaden one's horizons and consider this column. http://www.newsmax.com/GeorgeWill/redskins...9/06/id/673810/
Jose Abreu
There's "battling back against political correctness" and then there's what Trump is doing. He has been taking it a bit too far IMO.

Who's to say exactly, but Trump has definitely crossed it by saying many of the racist or sexist comments he has said through the years including this campaign. Implying that all illegals are rapists and drug dealers or saying that Jeb Bush likes illegals because he is married to a Mexican-American crosses the line and is far removed from just being a little not politically correct. Balta1701
Next time I hear someone use the phrase "political correctness" that isn't coming from a white person complaining about how they're not allowed to say something negative about a particular group will be the first. This is not what political correctness is whatsoever. But leave it to you to turn a rather simple term into a racist one.

The Gooch
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 8, 2015 -> 12:31 PM) Next time I hear someone use the phrase "political correctness" that isn't coming from a white person complaining about how they're not allowed to say something negative about a particular group will be the first. That's because white people are basically the only people that have to worry about being politically correct. A minority saying something negative about another minority isn't big news. A white person saying something negative about a non white person is racism and a front page story. I want to be clear that I am not making an opinion on whether the above is right or wrong, it is just my opinion that the above is true.
