aboz56
Cleveland wins 4-3. Let's hope they can take one more of the next two. Looks like we're gonna need it.
winninguglyin83
they play THREE MORE twinkies and Cleveland play monday in Cleveland while the Sox are in Minny resting If milton pitches on Sunday, be interesting to see if Santana or Pulido or Reed pitches
aboz56
Then it would be nice if they took two out of three. I think they'd be stupid to pitch Milton this season, but that's just me. They should at least let him throw out of the pen a few times before starting him, but let's hope he's not very sharp if he does indeed start. elrockinMT
You mean to tell me there is still hope starting tomorrow? Good to see the Indians and Tigers play ball with the big uns. Tigers Maroth pitched a shut out vrs KC. He won 3-0 and now is 7-20 on the season. Record ain't as bad as the losses would indicate.

This, my friends, is why we shouldn't count out the Tigers and Indians in assisting us here!!! They can be extremely lethal here. We just gotta go out and do our share in getting the divisional title. There are only 15 more games left, and we're tied for the divisional lead with Minnesota. Anything can happen. That's why they play the games.
DonkeyKongerko
This is only somewhat related but I heard Joe 'Cy' Mays could be out for all of 2004.

DBAHO
It'd be great if we win da division for 2 reasons da 1st obivously being we're in da playoffs, but the 2nd is that Minny's got problems if they don't make it. Attendance has been down at da Dome this year, and the owner (Pohlad?) will want to cut payroll, so guys like Jones and Guzman will prob. go. But Rob Neyer thought that da Twins would win da division next year IF da White Sox do not resign Bartolo Colon. Interesting. Da Tribe r in spoiler mode right now, and their young guys r gonna keep playing hard.
Guest hotsoxchick1
this my friends is exactly why we should be winning these games on our own and not relying on anyone to help us out.........wtf if we cant win them now what makes you think were gonna do well come playoff time... cleveland wont be there to bail us out when that time comes........ The Critic
This, my friends, is why we shouldn't count out the Tigers and Indians in assisting us here!!! They can be extremely lethal here. The ONLY reason I would agree with any part of this statement is because of the following two facts: The Indians are still playing VERY hard and have not mailed it in. They have some pretty good young players and they are hangng tough. They are going to be a REAL concern in the upcoming seasons. The Tigers have ONE thing to play for - to avoid being the worst team ever. If they still have a chance to avoid that, then they'll play hard and give it their best. Do I think it'll be enough? Not anymore, really. The Sox have really cast some serious doubts with their play in the past few days. ..........clinging to the dream, I guess.......... If they keep winning games the annoying hostess snack cakes from up north will fall by the wayside.
