Dick Allen
That seems like the Ibanez position. If he says no you could just move Harold's statue into the dugout and remain status quo.
Chisoxfn
I have to say, if we could get Acta and another solid coach, I'd be all for it. For whatever reason, I've never thought Harold would be that great of a coach (just too quiet). Of course, I'm totally assuming things here. NorthSideSox72
I thought they kind of created that job for him anyway - not sure they would have another one, exactly.

He has been more on the scene on CSN over the last couple of years. There was a really good segment with him a couple of months back. My guess is that he did not want the travel aspect. The assistant hitting coach is becoming more common. There was someone who was doing it before Harold but he had a Video title. Mike Gellinger. I am going out on a limb and thinking they want a guy like Ibanez who can speak Spanish almost for Avi alone. Ibanez didn't become productive until he was close to 30.maybe he can get through to him. I think the panic about Avi has started, Edited October 2, 2015 by Dick Allen

South Side Fireworks Man
Baines didn't seem to contribute much as a coach. Glad he finally quit.
