They play 7 games against each other next May. I'm sure that will be addressed.

I'm not disagreeing with you but it'll be pretty dumb if Texas does anything. If there's ever a time to celebrate and get crazy it's when you hit THAT homerun.

I wouldn't have a problem with a spontaneous, joyous reaction. I do have a huge problem with the looking at the pitcher--always have. It seems to be a new trend to look out at the pitcher to get your jollies on his reaction. I'll be honest, I'm more of an "act like you've been there before" person. I think that's cooler. But I guess people like to see more emotion and histrionics. I think there's a place in Baseball for a certain level of sportsmanship. In my opinion, Bautista crossed it with the staring out, even if it was for a half second...it was jerk move.

Well he hasn't been there before. To each their own but in my world if you hit a homerun like that, do whatever the f*** you want to do. If the pitcher has a problem with it then don't let up the homer.

Agreed. Everyone demands that players give 110%, but when they get a little fired up people get mad if they show too much emotion.

This was an interesting breakdown about how many altercations involve players of different etnnicites:

Not only that but just about every pitcher goes nuts when they have a big strikeout to end an inning. Why is that ok but not a hitter celebrating a home run?
