Bmr31
I meant Garland or ELo.............................tuesday, in the first game of teh series, it is Garlands turn, but Elo could be moved up a day, due to the day off. My question is would you go with Garland or Elo. I would go with ELo to set the tone of the series. WHat would you guys do? Garland would then have to go in game 2. I just think its better to set the tone..............
Cali
It will be Esteban Pitching in for the Twins: The White Sox will stay on rotation for the Minnesota series with Esteban Loaiza opening Tuesday at the Metrodome against Brad Radke and Jon Garland pitching on five days' rest Wednesday with Monday's off-day. "That's how it is set as of right now," said White Sox pitching coach Don Cooper. "At this time of year, you reserve the right to say if something happens we may make a change. But right now, it's Loaiza, Garland and [bartolo] Colon in that series." Mark Buehrle opens the Kansas City series Friday at U.S. Cellular Field, and the fifth starter's spot comes up in the second game Saturday evening. No decision has been made whether Dan Wright will get the call after walking five in one inning-plus during Friday's loss or whether Loaiza will come back on three days rest. "We didn't get what we were looking for [Friday]," Cooper said. "So we will see how the next five games go, really the next six days. When the fifth spot comes up again, we will have to analyze it, review it and see what's best. "Right now, it's still a little too far away. We have too many bridges to cross before we get there." Okay thanks! ESPN had Garland going on Tuesday and i was a little stumped.
SuperSteve
I think Loaiza should probably go. I would have no problem to see Garland, but Loaiza has been the man all year and could really get us the momentum. I haven't been able to see many games lately, has Loaiza looked fresh or worn in his recent starts?
Bmr31
Speaking of saturday at home, they BETTER not use DW there. I think he has proven he is not able to step up at this point.
