chw42
So with the Royals winning it all, they're probably going to re-sign Gordon. They might even have the space to sign a decent pitcher to replace Cueto.

Harry Chappas
Leaving Harvey in after the walk was bad. How does Niese not go out there for a second inning. How bad is the national league?
Panerista
Good for the Royals. I hate those guys, but at least they built a team the right way.
OmarComing25
QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Nov 1, 2015 -> 11:20 PM) I wonder what the record for lowest total HRs for a WS winning team is. This KC team's gotta be there. I'm sure there's plenty of teams before 1980 that hit fewer than 139 homers.
chw42
QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Nov 1, 2015 -> 11:22 PM) Leaving Harvey in after the walk was bad. How does Niese not go out there for a second inning. How bad is the national league? I don't get the rationale of throwing Niese for only one inning. He's a god damn starting pitcher. Let him go 3 innings for all I care.
Flash Tizzle
QUOTE (WilliamTell @ Nov 1, 2015 -> 11:21 PM) I know most of you guys can't stand KC, but I really enjoy wathing them play. I envy their execution. Wish the Sox could just do even a fraction of what KC does. I feel the same, and I'm definitely envious of their talent. The Royals actually hit a few homers this year. Perez, Moustakas, Hosmer, and Morales were all around 20. In the current run environment, that's actually pretty decent. Flash Tizzle
QUOTE (Soxfest @ Nov 1, 2015 -> 11:22 PM) Royals not making 3 World Series in a row. I wouldn't bet on that. Although I'd say the Royals have a better shot of making the 3rd world series than we do even making the playoffs

That's an easy bet to make, no matter who the team is.
kitekrazy
QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Nov 2, 2015 -> 12:16 AM) Nothing against the Mets but I'm happy the AL is going to win it, clearly the superior league this year. It seems odd that a team would have consecutive world series appearances these days.
Flash Tizzle
A lot of empty seats from some views looking behind home plate. I'm sure it must hurt to watch, but cmon mets fans -- may as well just sit around and watch someone celebrate

Phillies and Rangers did it very recently.

Flash Tizzle
QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Nov 1, 2015 -> 11:27 PM) You wouldn't bet against a single team not making the World Series? That's an easy bet to make, no matter who the team is. You take everything so literal it's hilarious. Point is, last season everyone made excuses and explained the Royals wouldn't make it back. They did. And yes statistically it's probably not going to happen; but I wouldn't flat out just say they won't be back as you suggest. MexSoxFan#1
QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Nov 1, 2015 -> 11:23 PM) I'm sure there's plenty of teams before 1980 that hit fewer than 139 homers. I meant in the WS, I know it's only 5 games but I didn't watch every game but I could only recall Gordon's game tying HR in GM 1. Anyways, the Royals don't bother me half as much as the Twins, Tigers and Indians. They were bad for so long I'm happy for them in that regard. Quin
And now they will win 90 games next year behind stellar offense and OK pitching as their bullpen implodes and they will miss the playoffs.
