2nd_city_saint787
QUOTE (Chet Kincaid @ Nov 6, 2015 -> 01:42 PM) How old is Howie Kendrick? It seems like he was with the Angels forever. This reeks of Orlando Hudson. I'll pass. Hudson had shown to be on the decline 2 years in a row before coming to Chicago. Howie has shown no such signs yet. Eminor3rd
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 6, 2015 -> 01:26 PM) If we were to spend $40 million this off season, we would target at least one higher end player. I still think our big move this winter will be via trade. I agree.
The Ginger Kid
I think it's going to be Sanchez at SS and Micah at 2B
Dick Allen
There were rumors of the White Sox trying to trade for Kendrick last year or the year before IIRC.
GreenSox
QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Nov 6, 2015 -> 10:30 AM) http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/2016-top-50...nt-predictions/ Cameron has the White Sox bringing back Alexei Ramirez on a 1 year deal for $6 million. He also has them signing Howie Kendrick, Chris Young (OF), Alex Avila, and Mat Latos. Absolutely not. No, No Maybe No On a side note; I didn't think anyone could be as smug as Keith Law, but Cameron smug trumps Law by a mile. Cameron is just an awkward dude who is accustomed to people calling his opinions s***. I used to think he was smug, but I've read/listened to a TON of his s*** over the years, and I think it's more of an unintentional lack of grace. Also -- in Cameron's defense (I know, I know, I sound like a fanboi), his self-appointed task was to force himself to choose a destination for every significant free agent. He wasn't claiming that this is what the Sox SHOULD do, rather matching up prices and players with perceived needs and front office tendencies. Cameron actually is FIRMLY in the camp that the Sox should blow it up and trade everyone. I don't agree with that opinion, but this article clearly doesn't reflect his RECOMMENDATIONS, instead they reflect his GUESSES. Edit: Wow typos Edited November 6, 2015 by Eminor3rd

It is that time of year where every baseball pundit writes junk articles to justify their pay. Most of the opinions( little or no research/sources are involved) are less accurate than the TV weatherman's forecasts.
Bob Sacamano
QUOTE (SCCWS @ Nov 6, 2015 -> 01:19 PM) It is that time of year where every baseball pundit writes junk articles to justify their pay. Most of the opinions( little or no research/sources are involved) are less accurate than the TV weatherman's forecasts. Literally impossible to predict a teams' offseasons. People you may expect to be on the roster end up getting dealt and throw a wrench in the prediction.

One of these guys, maybe Law, suggested a team pick up YOung and Para and platoon them in left.
