Panerista
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 11, 2015 -> 10:49 AM) 670 The Score @670TheScore Crane Kenney again confirms #Cubs will launch own TV network in 2020 after other TV deals expire. Does anyone know how YES network works? Does it take like a third of games or something? I can't imagine all the games being on a Cubs network. 3GamesToLove
QUOTE (AustinIllini @ Nov 11, 2015 -> 11:10 AM) Does anyone know how YES network works? Does it take like a third of games or something? I can't imagine all the games being on a Cubs network. YES has almost all of the games. There are maybe a dozen or so that's on an OTA network, but other than that it's all YES.
Buehrle>Wood
Dosent that mean their ownership of CSN reverts to Reinsdorf alongside the Blackhawks? Good news for us
Panerista
QUOTE (3GamesToLove @ Nov 11, 2015 -> 11:21 AM) YES has almost all of the games. There are maybe a dozen or so that's on an OTA network, but other than that it's all YES. I guess I shouldn't be surprised the Cubs only care about the big bucks instead of fans and viewership. Cubs fans will show up anyway. Edited November 11, 2015 by AustinIllini

Honestly, the Sox and Cubs are in the minority here. Most teams have the vast majority of their games on a cable network. I know the Cardinals are entirely on Fox Sports Midwest. YouCanPutItOnTheBoardYES!
Why isn't there a Fox Sports Chicago?
southsider2k5
QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Nov 11, 2015 -> 12:25 PM) Why isn't there a Fox Sports Chicago? There was until the main teams broke off and formed their own cable network. Then all of their products were gone and they folded.

Good news for us I believe they have the first option to purchase that right.
