GGajewski18
Ken Rosenthal @Ken_Rosenthal 7m7 minutes ago #Nationals had been reluctant to give O’Day 4th yr -set definitive price point. #Orioles get him on 4-yr, $31M deal, as @JonHeymanCBS said. That's quite a bit for a set up guy. Reliever market about to pick up now.

Dick Allen
O'Day has been really good for a while now. A former waiver claim.
Special K
Could we get a contributing everyday position player for a Robertson trade? If so, who? And, finally, assuming I agree with your proposed hypothetical trade, why no do it? I think we could still have a solid bullpen.

LittleHurt05
Early candidate for worst contract of the year. Giving a closer that type of deal is crazy, you give it to a middle reliever?
daggins
O'Day is probably worth that but why would the Orioles, a team that doesn't project to be very good, dish out for him?
Bigsoxhurt35
@DODay56: Contrary to the news, I have not reached an agreement with the O's yet. I am flattered by all the attention, but reports are premature.
Bob Sacamano
QUOTE (daggins @ Dec 6, 2015 -> 09:42 AM) O'Day is probably worth that but why would the Orioles, a team that doesn't project to be very good, dish out for him? I find it odd too. Especially when they've been so cheap with their spending past few years.
