DBAHO
I was so impressed with Mark Buerhle today. I mean the guy was well below his best, even he knew it, and he only gives up 2 runs against maybe the best hitting team in the league. Early on in the season he would have got litten up. At 2-10, we were all wondering what da hell happened to him. But now he's won 11, and only lost 3 since and of course the team has been playing great as well. I mean we all know how important, Lee, Frank and Maggs r, but I think the real key to our resurgance has been Buerhle. Since he's pitched good, we've played great, and it's great to have him pitch well again.

Other than that Rangers gm where he gave up 9 runs he's been outstanding. Loaiza is also 8-2 since the break.
DonkeyKongerko
I don't think we have a 2nd half MVP because so many people have been contributing. It wasn't like the first half where there truly was one guy, Esteban, carrying the entire team. That said, the front four of our pitching rotation has done some tremendous work this 2nd half. Let's just ignore the 5th starter spot for now...

Most laughed at the few of us that claimed it..... saying MB "sucked," or, "Go home to St. Louis..... where you want to be anyway." Mark is now one game under .500, yet none of his bashers voice as much as a "way to go" for the guy. No wonder why MLBPA feels White Sox fans are the 3rd worst in the League. But Colon is "god" and can do no wrong . Thanks DK
aboz56
I supported Mark the whole season (even when he was 2-10) and I agree that he's been a big key to the Sox getting back in the AL Central lead during the season's second half. Kudos to Mark B for his improvements throughout the rest of the season and let's hope he turns out a good start in the game I'm going to get to see him pitch against the Yankees at the Cell. elrockinMT
I got to watch the Sunday game on WGN. I impressed with the way Buerhle kept coming back and also the aggressive play by the Sox. The defense was really good and I think Jose needs to be recognized for his hustle. Pitching wise I think the way that Garland, Buerhle, Loaiza and Colon have stepped up is impressive as a unit. I knew he and the rest of the team would pull through & thanks to some brilliant moves (yes I'm giving the guy credit here) by KW the team caught fire the second half & now we're in a really exciting pennant race.
