Maybe history is the best teacher. How many of them benefited the Sox? It's not so much what they gave up but what they got and made a negative impact. Smarj and Swisher come to mind. Still looks great on paper but since it was Oakland does history prevail?

An essential member of the World Series team?

I hated Swisher more than any other player ever to criss paths within the Sox system so I'm glad you brought him up....wait no I'm not.... I hate that duechebag! Why would you bring that guy up man?!

LOL youtube not career stats You're a joke, any ways back to the Sox,

GO WHITE SOX

Video doesn't lie. I'd love to see you defend Zobrist's loafing on that play, the only Athletic on the field with a sense of focus or urgency there was Lawrie.

I am not defending anything, every great player makes an error part of the game, how exactly does that adequate to career stats?

I'm one of those typically negative posters here and I'll say this: I'm happy with Hahn and this move! The package was nowhere near what I would have expected. I'm glad to have Lawrie and am very excited bow for whats forthcoming

Even when we trade the farm for Frazier?

I just wish we got to see how well Gonzalez would have fared under the Sox.

Since this thread is about Lawrie in the first place who's #17 on the list?

Read what Fathom and I wrote. Get back to me once your finished. Plus bookmark that site. Maybe do a review of advanced statistics.

I'll be pissed if Danny Valencia has a better year than Lawrie. We could have gotten Valencia for nothing last year.

no, we couldn't have. Oakland was ahead of us on the wire.

Could have fooled me! Still waiting for you to come up with some plausible excuse for Zobrist's horrendous outfield play in that clip! Rickey's rolling over in his grave!!!
