If Davis would just sign with the O's it would change the whole game with Cespedes. He would then truly have to take a lesser contract because there is no one else willing, it seems, that would be able to pay him Orioles money. Davis take the damn money already dude. WTH are you waiting on? No one else is going to give you over 125mil.

It's f***ing on now! Baltimore is pulling out all the stops.

"Jimmy's Famous Seafood has extended the same offer it did to Davis to new free-agent target Yoenis Cespedes: Sign with the Orioles, receive free steamed crabs for life."

Oh crap. We're in trouble. Come on Ferro's! Time to reciprocate with those "Eggceptional" omelettes! I'm sure that will do the trick.

I don't know man, its gonna be tough to compete with sea food. It's like bringing a bazooka to a gun fight.

Might have to counter with a combo of Chicago style deep dish pizza and Chicago's best polish sausage.

Mets willing to go one year OR 3 years for around $60 million. Wouldn't it be ironic if Gordon, Cespedes and Davis all ended up back with their former teams?

Orioles definitely in the running at five years and $90 million.

This article claims an official offer has yet to be made by the Mets.

Btw, Addison Reed just got himself a $5.3 million contract for next season, they also gave former Sox longman/spot starter pitcher Carlos Torres $1+ million.
