Did you watch her speech Greg? Tony was giving his own opinion, not regurgitating analysts. You too could watch it and form your own opinion.

I just saw highlights; I need to watch it. I've always liked her, but I just get sick of the reviews always being so predictable loving the Democrats and mocking the Repubs. on the speeches. I need to watch it soon.

 

You do realize that nothing in any of those emails actually changed any results, right? People complaining about Bernie in private emails didn't change the fact that Hillary destroyed him in votes.

I thought Bernie had unbelievable momentum heading into California, win after win after win and the media ignored it, proclaimed him buried and it affected Cali. Had he gotten the proper love he deserved at that point, with so many recent victories, I believe he may have snatched the nomination. Add that to the DNC plotting for ways to burn Bernie ... I don't like it. I love Bernie.

I'm still backing Sale 100 percent on this; I just acknowledged ptatc made a good point. I'd choose sale over management/Robin anyday. And trading him would be asinine. I'm not gonna flop to Hillary. I feel she is despicable and I am anticipating 8 years of her immediately to follow will be 8 of chelsea. You wait.

College buddy of mine got into the Washington Post today on those leaked emails:

More generally, an intervention can only succeed if someone in the targeted country chooses to cooperate with the outside power. American and Soviet interventions only worked because the rival superpowers could find parties whose beliefs (or greed) proved simpatico. But the Soviet Union never successfully intervened in an American election because no major political figure would want to be associated with the Soviet Union. Collaboration would have been unthinkable.

 

Until this week, one would have thought that a similar taboo would have applied to profiting from the apparent theft and release of documents by a foreign actor in an attempt to influence an American election. Giving credence to such documents might seem tempting, especially if juicy revelations seemed to undermine a rival. Of course, such documents could easily be forged (as some in the DNC leak may have been). And, more important, even if the documents are real, their release hardly constitutes a public good, since a foreign power would be deciding what gets released and when in the pursuit of its own self interest.

 

The best strategy for the national interest, then, would be to put such documents beyond the pale. Yet the Trump campaign has embraced the tactical upside of the scandal, with the candidate himself even taking to Twitter to celebrate the Democrats’ misfortune. Regardless of whether this document leak was the product of a foreign government’s actions, Trump’s choice raises the likelihood that the next one will be.

I just think the family is elitist and Chelsea will be groomed by Hillary the final five years to be ready to run and win in a landslide. I expect Chelsea to get some big-time government job in either the third to fifth year, or maybe run for governor somewhere and win that first. I just don't like the Clinton's getting 24 full years of the Oval Office during a relatively short period of time in our country's history. There's no reason for Chelsea to not start being groomed for President.

I want to remind everybody the final count was 2800 delagates Clinton to 1800 Bernie. In the face of unmistakeable odds, Bernie Sanders did not get blown out. Had he been given a fair shake by the press and by the DNC, you think it wasn't gonna be a draw?? This baby was up for grabs.

Bernie Sanders could have been an amazing story. From NOWHERE to president of the United States.

No one has said it yet, but can we call agree Hillary's campaign logo is awful? I don't even get it. Is it supposed to mean progress? Doesn't it just mean she's moving further to the right?

Honestly like just simple font with blue/white stark contrast with CLINTON or HILLARY or something like that. Adding graphics is almost always too much. I dind't like the O with the flag under either.

So Trump just in a press conference asked russia to hack and release the rest of Clinton's emails. He asked a foreign government to hack his political rival.

 

Would love for Paul Ryan and McConnell to tell us how they feel about that and how they think this man should be president.

I think anyone who tries to rank one of these two above or below the other in honesty and character looks foolish. These two are cut from the same cloth. All you can look at are the positions and argue those. But to compare one against the other on any character scale is just scary.

I think you are insane, but even if you weren't, then openly calling on foreign governments to dig up dirt on your rivals falls into both policy and character.

 

But yes, all that hard work of making up fake scandal after fake scandal against the Clintons in the 90s is really paying off, it can get Donald Trump elected. Great sowing of seeds, republicans. At least he may get you a tax cut.
