OMG, many of you have screamed at me and told me to stop mentioning Chelsea for the Presidency.

Hmmm ... Greg isn't as fricking dumb as you think. Now it's on CNN!! She will not discount her political aspirations and already has Bill's support. Great. ...

16 straight years of Clinton rule, folks. Let's hope the Clintons know what they are doing.

I don't know if Americans care or not, but Hillary's health seems to be something worth discussing. I wish Hillary and everyone good health. I despise her but I don't want her to be in poor health. She had some kind of issue today for sure.

Why laugh when those 2 articles suggest Chelsea might run? Why laugh when we know we're more apt to elect Democrats than Republicans to the oval office? Why laugh when we're in a day and age you don't have to have any political experience to run? Why laugh when Chelsea seems to (finally) be enjoying being in the public eye and hearing her own voice in interviews? Finally why laugh when a large segment of Americans think it's the Clinton's duty/right to serve as President?

I can't stand the GOP, but the videos today scare me a little. Something is off.

Yeah, she's definitely got something going on, folks. Dr. Drew takes a lot of guff, but he must know what he's talking about. He knew she was in poor health.

This whole "Hillary is sick" that the rightwing has been pushing lately just got real.

Greg, please stop posting so much, for the love of God you make this thread unreadable with your sh*t posting.

Sorry I had some links today about Hillary and Chelsea, etc., so I had to post more. I will try to stop.

Maybe they could start a "I Despise Hillary" thread and "I despise Trump" thread to put all the posts in there. One spot and people won't have to read in the Democrat/Republican threads.

I'm referring to your Chelsea Clinton will be president and we'll have 16 years of Clintons.

That's crazy talk, Chelsea isn't a very public person, you kinda have to be to run for prez.

Go post that at reddit if you love conspiracy talk.

They're saying it was heat related. I've seen people in their early 20's collapse from it worse than that

Optics

It's already out there, this whole Hillary has seizures, is ill etc etc and this falls right into that narrative.

I hope I'm wrong but her health is now an issue.

Cillizza had a tweet a few days ago saying that her health isn't an issue...and now this...

Not good.

That's great, but Trump was at the same event, is older, and was fine.

Again, the GOP has been pushing this narrative for months, it's garbage, but now they have a video to run the next 60 days. It's not good.

The video is going to be a problem. I was at a Rush show in Rotterdam a few years ago, and my wife, who may be the healthiest person I know, collapsed during the encore. It looked just like when Hillary was dropping. I was scared to death. I thought she was dying. I grabbed her, and carried her out for help. We went into a room backstage. She was overheated and dehydrated, we were in general admission near the stage, and she is only 5'2". We always figured it was a lack of air as she was surrounded by taller people. But 10 minutes later she was fine, and there were never any other episodes.

It looks a lot worse than it was. But with the narrative, this is one of the best things that could happen for Trump.

This won't matter in a few days tops. It's not going to cause anyone who is planning on voting Clinton to suddenly consider voting Trump or being okay with him as president.

Crazy alternate theory: this was a brilliant staged plan to get the irredeemable comments out of the news cycle!

Tim Kaine would probably poll better than Hillary.

Maybe she's playing the sick card. 4d intergalactic chess

Yeah, that's really the worst case scenario, right? Instead of Least Liked Candidate ever versus Second Least Liked Candidate ever, we get Trump running against Kaine. Obviously impossible to predict exactly how Hillary dropping out would play out especially depending on the timing, but it wouldn't necessarily mean President Trump. And let's say "candidate health" becomes a big issue--Trump hasn't released his medical records, he's a huge germophobe who has to fly home to NYC almost every night and has a garbage diet, and he recently nodded off in the middle of his Nieto press conference. It wouldn't necessarily be a boon for his campaign for health to become the focus.

Running the presidential candidate gauntlet of everyday being 18+ hour days while having pneumonia must absolutely suck.

relatedly, assange is definitely not a partisan hack:

That's strange. First hours of the news cycle had her camp saying she was overheated.

Yes, it can be both, the pneumonia exacerbated by the heat.

Is that account ran by Assange? Why is it partisan if they're going at an individual? Is it partisan when Republicans address Trump's detriments?

Hmm why is it partisan to go hard after one candidate in the race for President of the United States it is a mystery. Wikileaks is Assange's operation so he's responsible for it whether or not his personally posted (and then took down) that dumb poll.

There are over 80 strains of pneumonia and the vaccines cover 23 at most. She may or may not have been vaccinated, but just like the flu, it doesn't mean you're 100% immune.

There's "a lot of weird s*** going on with her and her health" if you give credence to conspiracy videos about her being on her death bed, having Parkinsans, etc. And while she hasn't been giving press conferences until lately, she hasn't been out of the public eye. She's done fundraisers and small meet-and-greet type campaign events every day for months.

I too have passed out at a concert! I was on some Vicodin from having my wisdom teeth out earlier that day, and my friend helped me out of the crowd. I also had a friend pass out from the heat at the Fireside Bowl, it was probably 120 degrees in there, scary stuff.

Maybe it was taken down at his behest? You don't know the details and you're calling him names for something that cannot be associated to anyone in particular. If you want to rip WikiLeaks that's fair but going at Assange is just another one of your unfounded, ad hominem attacks at him.

Wikileaks is his operation, so he's accountable for it. And given his past behavior and statements, it's not exactly unfair to associate him with that great "poll" they put out earlier. I also don't think my previous shots at him/WL have been unfounded, nor have they been ad hominems (simply insulting someone isn't an ad hominem).
